"What an absolute gem of a place! We stayed a week 2 kids and 3 adults and had an amazing time at Siam resort. All the staff was warm and welcoming and Nat and Kobi - the best hosts one could wish. Nat helped to arrange a whole week of tours in and around Chiang Mai and the guide/driver was of a great help as well. Great attention to detail - we really felt like home away from home. And kids loved the place too! We’re definitely going to miss this place and if we’ll travel back to Chiang Mai, we...

"The hotel and the villa where I stayed were incredible, 5 stars! The food was excellent! What could be improved is the maintenance; from the private pool of the villa, the first thing I saw was a wall with worn-out paint. Another thing I didn't like was that a container for bath salts broke. Despite explaining that it broke due to a poor design of the installation, they charged me for the container. It wasn't much, but I didn't like it."

"This property is a tucked away hidden gem. The rooms are lovely and spacious and everyone is so friendly and helpful. Nyein was a particular gem and was so helpful and kind. When we had an issue with our room, Nyein helped us changed the room with ease and it was effortless. The location is great with loads of amenities nearby. We’ll definitely be visiting the Mango Tree Resort again! "

"Very friendly staff. The villa had a nice big room with private patio area, big bed which was softer than most in Thailand and memory foam pillow and normal one. Good shower, twin sinks and bath tub.
Good WiFi at 50mb down and up.
Breakfast buffet included had bacon bits, hot dog style sausage, fried eggs stir fried chicken, rice, toast cereals.
Did not use pool but looked nice.

downside for us was the location. We needed to be closer to the city center.

"This hotel is very well maintained. Nice staff and good food. Rooms with direct acces to swimming pool was very nice. Nice tv with good choice of english programs including movie Channels. Rooms are a good size and had everything we needed. Free wifi. 15 Minutes in taxi to night bazar. We Will surely Be staying here next time we visit Chiang Mai."

From the very beginning we were met by the sweetest staff. Whether it was in the reception, in the restaurant, by the pool or in the breakfast cafe, everyone was so sweet and helpful.
The room we stayed in, was clean, large and very comfortable.
Everything was so great, but the best thing was really the food. The breakfast was really really good, but the food from the restaurant was, by far, the best Thai food we had during our three weeks trip around Cambodia and Thailand. So delicious and at very good prices.
We can only recommend The Shewe, if you are travelling to Chiang Mai…… And try their Banana Smoothie, it’s a winner."
