"Vi læste om hotellet inden vi ankom til Tropea, men valgte ikke at booke noget på forhånd. Vi gik forbi for at se på faciliteterne og Rocco bød os velkommen på trappen. Kort efter havde vi hilst på nærmest hele personalet og blev vist rundt både i poolområdet, morgenmadsområdet og så et værelse. Vi bookede en nat til at starte med, men endte med at bo der fire nætter med ønsket om flere.

"Thrilled with our stay at Aether Suites. Our room was perfect for our family of four and Giuseppe was a fantastic host from check in, to our breakfast in the morning and for accomodating our check out and bags at check out time. Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse mit Blick zum Stromboli. Die beiden Damen sind ebenfalls sehr freudlich.
Saverio hat eine sehr freundliche Art. Man fühlt sich sofort sehr wohl. Er hat viele Tipps für gute Lokale.
Zum Stadtstrand nur ein kurzer Treppenabstieg. Von Il Barone werden kostenfrei Strandtücher zur Verfügung gestellt.Das Wasser ist traumhaft klar."

Deluxe room did have loud adjacent church bells that woke us up at 7am/ 7:30 etc. normally wouldn’t have bothered us… but felt more disruptive than it should have only because the A/C (weak to begin with) turned off several times during the night and would not come back On for some time. With 80 degree temperatures in the room (August is hot!) , we were VERY hot/ had trouble sleeping.

Uopfordret og uden beregning fik vi en ekstra enkelt seng på værelset nat nr.2 (selv om vi blot havde booket en dobbelt og en enkelt seng). Det synes jeg var en rigtig god service. Endvidere fik vi i receptionen gode anbefalinger af restauranter og lidt rabat på disse. Pasta med fisk/skaldyr kan anbefales."

Parking is on the street, and it can be challenging to find a spot, keep that in mind. Also, it would be great to have a water bottle as a courtesy, it was so hot when we got there, we ended up drinking tap water.

"We had to stay at this property unexpectedly after our other accommodations fell through and we discovered a gem! The owner greeted us and checked us in early upon arrival. She was so welcoming and helpful! The vibe of the property is chill and relaxing 😌 We enjoyed a wonderful lunch by the pool (they grow their own vegetables!) and a great dinner at the restaurant on site. My only regret was not staying longer! I 100% recommend!"

The check-in was very quick and easy, followed by a restaurant right on site that does a wonderful dinner as well as a complimentary Italian breakfast. The pool is cozy and received plenty of sunlight, and the room was comfortable along with a top notch A/C and a stocked mini fridge. We’ll certainly stay again next time we’re in town"

"Great location vs the old city center, beach and railway station. Nice and clean hotel. Two improvement areas; internet is not very good (male receptionist meant since it worked in the reception area is was ok all over the hotel, they also told there where only one router in the hotel and since I was the only one telling them there was no problem - then after 2 days there where some guys fixing the router outside my room… honesty is always the best answer). Another issue was that the gym was not free - first time I have experienced to have to pay for it - no info on the website about this!"
