The very first night instead of being allowed to enter our rental we were met by an armed guard who said his boss told him we had canceled that afternoon and not to let us in, which was absolutely not true. We ended up spending the next TWO and a HALF hours calling VRBO who disconnected after putting me on hold for an hour of international phone costs and never calling me back. And at the same time my husband calling the management company five times who finally got someone on the phone who got us let into this absolute lie of a listing. The photos of the furniture in the living room is not the same at all, instead super small uncomfortable couches that we avoided at all cost. The "hot tub" is a jacuzzi tub in the master bath that has a huge crack thru to the foundation in it letting in big ants and is unusable. There is no TV in the house like the listing says and no wifi to speak of. There's a router that does cellular wifi that was half the speed of our cell phones so not the hifi wifi that's listed. The listing does state you need a 4*4 car but not that you have to literally ford a river to get to it, not a creek or runoff, an actual river where once you make it thru people on the other side stop you to ask you how bad is it cause they weren't sure it was actually meant to drive thru. The fridge died right after we arrived turning a brand new gallon of milk into a solid chunk in two days!! When we complained to the management company instead of fixing it they ask
