"This is the best hotel in Trincomalee. The staff are the loveliest, kindest staff, and they made our time there feel like home. The food is a choice of traditional Sri Lankan food as well as European/US, but they even made us egg hoppers on request.... Its that we're not on the menu. So I cannot praise them highly enough. "I was underwhelmed with this hotel and thought value for money was much not as good as other hotels I stayed at in Sri Lanka. Located in the central city area of Trinco, however there is not really much to neither see or do in this area. Suggest you instead look for a hotel on the beach and take a tuk-tuk if you want yo experience the city. The room was spacious, had AC, but other than that rather basically equipped. I had high hopes for a Sri Lankan breakfast, because staff asked me...

"Received very badly. It was terrible. They didn't even know we booked and were talking to us and eating at the same time. Very disrespectful reception. The rooms themselves were good and clean. Bath towels we didn't have in the room either and had to ask for it. We booked and paid for breakfast and they told us they had no breakfast for us. They asked us all the time whether we pay now although we have booked on ebookers and have already paid this. We did not get money back either. Not so...

Even they could have informed if they have cancelled my room reservation. I will take necessary action regarding this matter"
