"This place was charming and the backyard was so peaceful and beautiful. We only stayed for one night (our last night before catching our plane leaving Portugal). The rooms are on the cozy size but the huge backyard patio and garden with chickens and two friendly cat more than entertained our 7 year old. Breakfast was served early and VERY delicious and varied. They were able to accommodate one of our travel companions who is gluten free. Communication with the property easy with quick responses."

Most exceptional was that though breakfast was scheduled till 10, there were no more scrambled eggs after nine any of the four days we stayed there. An one day they even ran out of bread for breakfast!"

In our room there were dirt and mold on the walls near the beds, and the ceiling in the bathroom was full of mold.
The hotel is placed in an extremely noisy area, and we could clearly hear everything that happened outside and in the other rooms.
Furthermore, the beds are like sleeping on a pile of rocks, so we did not get a lot of sleep.
The only thing good to say is that the receptionist when we arrived were extremely nice and tried her best at speaking English. However, when we wanted to check out in the morning there were another receptionist, who did not speak or understand a word English, and didn’t even try to understand."
