Hotel i Trellech United, Monmouth

"Wonderful accommodations in a most beautiful part of our world. The building is very old and this is not perfect. For us it was perfect. An excellent breakfast each morning and dinner and pints in the evening. Plenty to see nearby. We look forward to visiting again."

"Lovely cottage. Good location too. The only negative was the bugs that woke us up in the middle of the night. A bit scary because they are really big and crawls on your skin. Other than that, still okay."

"Really nice stay in a small village with a lot of history. The property is situated close to some well known places such as Tintern and Usk. Great communication from the hosts who were very friendly and supporting."

"All good"

"Fantastisk service! Selvom vi ankom knap to timer efter de egentlig var stoppet med at servere scones fik vi the og scones i biblioteket. Vi fik præcis det værelse jeg havde bedt om - og et håndskrevet velkomstkort. Slotshaven er eventyrlig. Middagen i restauranten var perfekt. Det betød at al ophold i længere tid på værelset var ubehageligt og søvnkvaliteten var i bund."

"I was in a single room, basic but clean. The hotel does need a refresh, and that is planned for next year. There is a gym guests can use, and spa treatments are also available (payable) in the Serenity Suite, a separate business on site. Staff were welcoming and very helpful."

"We had a very enjoyable stay. Ann & Baratt were great hosts. Good location for visiting Monmouth."

"no aircon - gym was very small and room the smallest i ever stayed in."

"Room not aging well. Stained carpet. Bed linen clean. Towels clean. Shower ok."

"God beliggenhed midt i Bristol’s gamle by"

"Lovely room, great food and service brilliant!"

"Ideal location, great room and fabulous breakfast"

"Beautiful setting right on the river with a very friendly staff team and clean and well appointed rooms. It’s not luxurious but everything is thought through and it’s clean. Mattress on the bed was a bit worn - I could feel the springs a bit, so that could do with a replacement but it was a generally really comfortable and relaxed stay. Food was very good - very nice cooked breakfast and I had one evening meal which was very generous. As a solo traveller I felt very comfortable and the staff...
