"For the price I was satisfied the only issue was that there was no board walk from hotel to beach other than that staff was friendly and polite, would stay there again. Taxi service is reasonable for transportation purposes if needed. Breakfast was small portions but ok to start the morning, needs to be started earlier rather than at 8:00. Overall a good experience! Thanks to all personnel at Padre South Hotel."

"The hotel was fine. The bed was comfortable. I reserved a suite and in it was a jacuzzi. Unfortunately, it was so poorly maintained the both handles were loose and one came off entirely. It was so difficult to operate that after one use, I didn’t touch it again for fear I couldn’t turn the water off again. Other than that, the stay was fine. "

"Awesome location, only a couple minutes walk to the beach. Very spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Only downside was a washer/dryer combo unit that didnt dry. Not great when you go to beach everyday and cant dry towels. Also problematic as you wash clothes - you cant dry them... make sure you get a unit with separate washer and dryer."
