Charming Waterfront Cabins with Hot Tub & Private Beach Access near Traverse City, Michigan

These are two charming waterfront cabins near Traverse City. The other cabin overlooks the waters of High Lake from its deck. The second cabin has a beautiful view of the lake from the firepit area and is tucked in the trees. Enjoy soaking in the hot tub, grilling, and outdoor dining while taking in the beautiful lake view from either cabin.



Inside Both Cabins

Main Bedroom: Cozy full-size bed providing a restful sleep. 

Second Bedroom: Twin over twin bunk bed, perfect for kids or the young at heart. 



Bathroom: Accessible through the main bedroom, featuring a refreshing shower. Body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, and toilet paper are stocked prior to arrival. Bath towels, beach towels, wash cloths, hand towels, and a hair dryer are provided as well.



Kitchen: Fully equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, oven/stove, cooking utensils, and dishes for all your culinary needs. 4 bottles of water, variety of tea bags, hot chocolate, and ground coffee stocked prior to arrival.



Fireplace: Snuggle up by the electric fireplace during the fall and winter months. The cabin has heat controlled by a thermostat, but it also has an electric fireplace for additional heat and ambiance.



TV: The living room features a 32" Roku Smart TVA/C: The cabins feature air conditioning for the warmer months. There is also a box fan in each bedroom for those who enjoy air moving around them in the summer.

High-speed internet: The cabin features high-speed internet up to 600Mbps down.



Board Games: Enjoy quality family time with a variety of board games!Pack 'N Play: A Pack 'N Play is available on request.



Outdoor Amenities

Step outside and soak in breathtaking lake views from the firepit or relax amidst the trees in a hammock. The grill and firepit are perfect for outdoor cooking and cozy campfires under the stars. Beach access includes a pedal boat, kayaks, and a canoe for endless summer fun. Cast a line and savor the tranquil sounds of nature or unwind in the hot tub while taking in the beautiful lake view.



Hot Tub: Maintained at 102 degrees year-round. We take great care to keep our hot tubs clean and chemically balanced. If your stay is longer than 3-4 days, we may have a technician come out during your stay to check and adjust the chemicals in the hot tub to ensure that you can safely use the hot tub for the duration of your stay.



Grill: Enjoy making dinner on a gas grill on the deck. There are 2 propane tanks stocked in the cabin - the tank currently in use and an extra tank.



Outdoor Dining: Outdoor table with seating for 4. Enjoy your meals outside under the trees.



Cornhole: What says Michigan summer more than a game of cornhole among family or friends?



Firepit: The firepit for the other cabin is located under the trees, set back from the lake but with a beautiful lake view. The fire pit for the second cabin is on the beach. No matter which you choose, the firepits are perfect for roasting marshmallows and telling campfire stories! Roasting sticks are provided.



Beach Amenities

 High Lake Retreat features a sandy beach on the shores of High Lake, about 15 minutes from Traverse City. The sun sets on the opposite side of the lake, making for beautiful sunsets in the summer! We've stocked the beach with toys and watercraft for maximum summer fun!



Kayaks and Canoe: There are three single-person kayaks and one two-person canoe. One of our favorite activities is to kayak around the lake at sunset!



Pedalboat: There is one pedalboat that seats 4 people and is loads of fun, especially for the kiddos!



Dock: There is a dock on the beach that is great for fishing!



Life jackets: There are 4 adult universally sized life jackets and 2 kids-sized jackets, 50-90lbs.



Floaties: There are a number of floatation toys available for use



Beach Toys: Beach toys are stocked and vary from year to year, but we commonly have balls and frisbees, water guns, and the like.\



Life Size Connect 4: There is a life-sized Connect 4 game on the beach. What could be more fun than a family Connect 4 tournament!



Pets: 1 pet allowed per cabin (2 total), up to a max of 50lb, for an additional fee of $100.
