"Hotel de Lagom is a charming boutique hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter—think cozy, not grand. Location is great, slightly on the edge but within walking distance to all the sights. We stayed in a spacious family room (2 bedrooms, 2 baths, balcony, TV room), clean and authentic with a courtyard view. Breakfast on the top floor was delicious with fresh eggs, avocado toast, barista coffee, and local specialties. Only downside: pork and chicken served on the same plate—please separate them! "Very helpful staff, and very good location in center of the old city."

"Perfect location in central Old Quarter for exploring the city sights. Extremely attentive service from everyone at the reception and all others. The breakfast is so so - Sky Bar is great. Would recommend for families and couples - though ensure it possible to get a room with a window - some rooms are without windows (also clearly advertised by hotels.com)"

"Su Casa is a great apartment properry in Hanoi. It has a great location, very attentive staff, clean, spacious rooms, fast WiFI, and a nice roofdeck lounging area. Our 2 BR 3rd floor aprtment had a wonderful floor to ceiling wondow overlooking the Old Quarter and a great kitchen area for making small meals. We had a minor issues with checkinf in but Su Casa has a a "hot line" that easily solved our problem. We shy away from staying at larhe cjaom jotels when we travel and prefer local properties...

"clean and updated room. professional and friendly staff. breakfast is abundant. five star all the way."

"This hotel was pretty bare-bones and I don’t know how other people have rated it so highly. Great location and the staff were very nice, but those are certainly its biggest draws. We had no hot water after the first night in our room, only luke-warm. The bathroom was partially a wet room- the toilet and shower were in the same area, and the toilet paper was prone to getting wet during a shower. Additionally, the toilet bowl was dirty when we arrived. Lighting was lacking in the room: our...

"Very very friendly staff, But hotel very old, at the moment reception is in the basement the former motorbile parking due to renovation of the reception. Bar , sundeck and swimmingpool not maintained, sad sight! There are only space for two stools at the swimmingpool. Best part of the hotel is staff, besides that, rooms dirty and old."
