Had a two week trip booked and the recent ice storm came in and closed our local airport and canceled all of our flights. We weren’t able to make the trip to the hotel and notified the hotel of this, they responded with an “not my problem jack” attitude and told us the two thousand (US) was non refundable no matter what, have a good day. We asked for credit for a future booking later in the year and were told “no we don’t do that sort of thing”.
Just know that when these people say non-refundable they mean it. They will gladly take your money for free at your expense even in the result of an emergency. Money hungry business. Kind of upset I can’t leave zero stars.
Look at all of the other low star reviews, the business responds with the typical “our management will look into this” shpeel, and a saving face answer but not actually do anything about it. Will not be staying here ever, and recommend no one else stays either.
