"The Hotel is very conveniently located next to the bridge between Houghton and Hancock, beautiful view of the lake (lake view room) and very quiet. The location just north of the bridge gives a good vantage point for exploring the Keweenaw Peninsular and still have proximity to restaurant etc. of a larger city. The room on second floor (no elevator) was nice and clean and the beds very comfortable, heating/cooling in room effective to find comfortable temperature. Breakfast was the average but...

"I checked in on Wednesday and checked out on Sunday. Saturday at 4pm, I was tired that the room had NEVER been cleaned/checked, so I went to the front desk and got more trash bags and clean towels. Made me start to question how clean the rooms are between guests. Staff are very friendly. Just wish housekeeping was better!"
