"It's a lovely location surrounded by nature, including a river flowing over rocks and falls that can be viewed from the outdoor baths. The hotel itself was fine. The room was large, its view was good. The only complaint is about the room safe. It was too complicated: neither my partner nor could set the lock in the 4 seconds demanded. I've stayed at various hotels and inns all over Japan for 46 years, and I never encountered such a ridiculously complicated room safe. We couldn't use it."
"It's deep in the mountain and you can enjoy the summer green of the Shirakami. You may need a car to get there but I chose to go by myself, took a taxi between the hotel and Futatsui station, which gave me a wonderful opportunity of talking with a driver who spoke true local dialect of Fujisato area. Hotel staff were all kind. At the souvenir shop, you'll find nice local items like handicrafts and unique food.
Rooms and facilities are all clean. Very comfortable!"
