Leave everything behind and get ready for some well-deserved R&R – when you stay in this Oceanside vacation rental, you’ll be on beach time! Equipped with a large deck, gorgeous views of the ocean, and modern amenities, your group will be more than comfortable here.



This vacation rental is located right in the middle of peaceful Oceanside, Oregon, just west of Tillamook and its famous cheese factory! Accessing the beach is easy via the stone staircase on the south side of the house that leads to the paths to the beach.



This two-level home is airy and beautiful, with large windows, stunning ocean views, and cathedral ceilings. Step into the entry level on the second floor, where you’ll find an open-concept living area with plush sofas that connects to a kitchen and dining area. The living room is nice and cozy.



Stop by a grocery store on your way in and fill up your fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook! This spot has modern, stainless steel appliances and a dining table overlooking the ocean.



Head downstairs to the bedrooms, which both have amazing views of the ocean and share a bathroom. One bedroom comes with its own queen-size bed, while the other has two twins. You’ll find a half-bathroom upstairs, too.



You’ll also find a private washer/dryer tucked into the full bathroom downstairs. The blue and white tile shower is refreshing, but the door is narrow. WiFi, a phone for local calls, and a stereo system.



Outside, you’ll find an expansive deck with ocean views. Lounge on the blue Adirondack chairs on the upstairs deck, or make your way downstairs to a more shaded deck with a small dining table.



When you want to sink your toes in the sand, take the staircase down to the beach and spend a day making sandcastles and splashing your feet in the waves! Afterward, stop by Roseanna’s Cafe for a bite to eat, Blue Agate for breakfast and lunch fare, or Three Arch Inn for espresso and breakfast items. For more options, drive just a bit farther to the town of Netarts.



Whether you spend your days lounging in Oceanside, visiting restaurants in Netarts, or trying samples from the world-famous Tillamook Cheese Factory, you can’t go wrong with a stay in this comfortable and beautiful vacation rental!

Overall it gets a 4. Seriously, no TV? After a long awesome day at the coast, TV would be a no brainer for relaxing. Outdated music system. Cabinets to the ceiling but no step ladder to reach them. The 14 year old had to climb up to counter top to reach the bowels and pans we needed. Garbage can under the sink was full and stinky. Toilet tissue and paper towels so cheap and thin we had to drive to Tillamook to buy a reasonable quality replacement. Otherwise we loved it. Nice ocean views, great deck with privacy and wind block. Beds were creaky but comfortable.

There was possible blood stains on one of the twin bed sheets. View was great. Hammock would be nice. More classic rock cds. Misled on how close the beach wasn't. Overall was a very nice stay. Thanks.

Beautiful views! Needs some upgrades

Very unique property with beautiful views from the living area and decks. Stairs to the beach were very helpful. Kitchen well stocked with cooking utensils. The stereo system in the kitchen with the CDs was excellent and fun to listen to different types of music. The beds need to be upgraded, as they are very uncomfortable. Blackout blinds are needed for the bedrooms especially during summer when the sun doesn't set until late. The toilet broke while we stayed there and Vacasa got it fixed, but limited communication on the process.

Restful location

This property, which not directly on the beach, has a great ocean view. Cons: If you have knee issues or any mobility issues, be forewarned that all bedrooms are in the basement while the kitchen and den are on the top floor. Also, the shower is tiny. Pros: great view of ocean, several outdoor gathering placed to eat or just rest, and close proximity to good restaurants

Beautiful view, cosy inside

We’ve stayed at many places in Oceanside and the Blue Door now ranks as my favorite. The large windows and upper deck give are the best. The house is simply but pleasantly furnished and the kitchen very well appointed. The bed was comfortable and the lower deck Provided another nice outdoor space.

The view! Amazing even when its raining. Love the charm of this place, it was very clean and definitely worth while. Seashell and rock hunting on the beach was a great time, and the people are very welcoming. Overall great stay, love the location.

Northwest trip

Property was great! Would have liked to use wood stove. Mattresses need to be replaced. GPS took us to property 2 streets lower where those owners said that there are a steady stream of misdirected tenets from The Blue Door. A mention in the check in would help.

Disappointing Accomodations .. Paying for View

Walking into this home, the first thing you see is the view -- it's breathtaking! But there's not a whole lot else about this place that has the same effect. Furniture is all pretty old and run down with cheap blankets draped over the couches (couches aren't what are pictured on this listing). The beds are very stiff and also feel cheap. The woodworking around the house is unfinished giving it a feel that maybe they're in-between repairs or modernizing. Towels, sheets, TP, paper towels, etc. are all the cheapest quality - we went into town and purchased some of our own TP to use during our stay. Shower is EXTREMELY small, so if you are a larger body person, be prepared to shimmy yourself in circles while cleaning off. Views from the deck and windows are beyond words -- we didn't spend much time at the rental, and what time we did spend was mostly on the deck or staring out the living room window. Email instructions were thorough. However, we were directed to the wrong house w a nearly identical address. Perhaps the rental could benefit from some kind of landmark on the deck you can see from the road below and include that in the check-in information. Overall, for the cost of this rental, we had much higher expectations. Everything feels outdated and very cheap. We were mostly out and about town for a special occasion, but I would've been really upset if my plan was to spend a cozy getaway hanging around this rental with the accomodations that are provided.

Just a prefect spot. The pictures don’t do justice to the view which was amazing. The house has all the amenities we needed and we loved the sound of the ocean as we were falling a sleep.

Great View of the Pacific

The unit was terrific! Watching people on the beach below from the picture windows, and from the sunny deck. WOW. Only negative was NO Cell Phone Service. Guess we could consider it a way to avoid SPAM Calls...

Such a Cool Place!

We enjoyed our stay at The Blue Door. It has a beautiful view of the shore and many amenities within. It's a great location. As others have mentioned the beds aren't that comfortable, could have used Kleenex, no tv (which I was ok with, but hubby would have preferred to have). It has a very small shower but great water pressure. There is a noticeable musty smell within and an area of the kitchen near the fridge smelled like dog urine although pets are not allowed. The dryer lint filter came loose while running a load and clanked around inside the machine with the clothes. Overall, we liked the place.

Beach house bliss

Great drive in parking for one car or large van. Huge window views and we saw whales spouting! Easy and quick drive down to Roseanns for dinner and Blue Agate for breakfast. Pleanty of parking to beach cove access to. Take a chair or get there before the tide to enjoy The Tunnel!

Amazing views

This is a great vacation cottage with amazing views. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is plenty of room. The furniture could use an update, and the beds definately need to be replaced, very uncomfortable.
