"Hotel leaves one with a mixed feeling. Room were clean with good bed and airconditioning. Nice pool area and excellent fitness equipment. Good service in reception area. On negative side it was raining inside common areas, service in restaurants were mixed. The personel that mixed drinks needs to be trained probably - they have all possibilities to make excellent drinks based on local high quality fruit."

"We booked a room with seaview, but the view is to a big ferry terminal. We got upgraded for free to a higher floor and bigger room. The view was almost the same, but it was a nice gesture to get a bigger room.

"Clean rooms and friendly staff. Very close to the airport, but if you plan to walk, it is not a direct path, so it is 600 meters to walk. If you have heavy luggage, consider a taxi (approx 2000 CFP)"

"This is a delightful, welcoming and serene guest house located high on the hillside above Puna'auia, just south of Papeete, with a view of Moorea in the distance. My only note of caution would be the challenging, sometimes rough and very steep drive to the property but the way is well marked. The breakfast is fantastic and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend for those looking for a quiet, laid back experience.

"Simply amazing, we had an Ocean View Bungalow for just the one night (if we had the time we would have loved to have stayed longer).
Private beach, swimming pool, comfortable bed and so private, we felt like we had the entire place to ourselves.
Highly recommend for couples or people like us who have spent weeks at sea and instead of staying overnight in Papeete on our Cruise Ship opted to rent a car and see the the real Tahiti. Loved it. "

"I spent 8 nights at Punatea Village and I greatly enjoyed my stay. The owner was very kind and accommodating. He upgraded me to a bungalow for 6 of my 8 nights at no extra cost. The kitchen is very clean and comes with all the utensils you need for cooking. It has a communal refrigerator. The lounge eating area is covered. The grounds is well maintained , with numerous beautiful tropical plants and trees. There is a nice swimming area which is protected from the surf by a wall of boulders....

"This is a great location to get to the Ferry…the Breakfast is wonderful. Most of the Staff is very good. The bedroom and all is clean and good. I had a problem with my bed it seems like there are wires out and when I got up I got hurt in my head from the lower bed… this was my third night there and this is the first time it happens… they need to check on this… I also had a problem with a Staff Member… sometime in the future I will let them know… other than that is very good"
