"This has been on my bucket list for some time. We had a wounderful 2 night stay and everything was perfect. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, larger than alot of hotel rooms. You lay in bed at night and could imagine your travelling on a train. The meal was excellent, Beef Wellington to die for, so good and wonderful surroundings in a 1906 Pullman car exquisitely restored. The staff were brilliant and extremely helpful. Alot of history tied up in this place."

"It is always a pleasure to stay here. The suite has adequate space for a couple. Very clean well looked after with en suite shower room.
Food available in the inn - excellent, delicious Thai. Can either eat in the bar or restaurant.
We just had to stay a night and have a meal on our way home from a tour round England."
"The room we booked was massive and the bed really comfy .The staff were lovely and the breakfast was really good and the dinner we had on the 1st night was all homemade and really good we definitely reccomend"
"Lovely characterful country house set in the beautiful South Downs National Park, but within easy reach of many other places of interest. Car needed to take full advantage of the location. Owners and staff very welcoming and bedroom comfortable (superior double room). Good breakfast served and a choice of pubs for evening meal within easy reach (by car)"
"Comfortable stay with the necessary amenities. I would recommend to people as was just what I needed and bonus that it is dog friendly for when I stay again and bring the dog. Clean, welcoming and lovely breakfast in the morning. "
"Nice room and bathroom with a good selection of tea and coffee in the room. The Bathroom is separated by the room with a glass wall so only share a room with people you're very comfortable with.. There was a "privacy button" that was supposed to make the door non-transparent, but I couldn't work out"
"From arrival to departure the staff was incredible. The general manager really helped turn our very hectic day of delayed flights and lost luggages into a good day with his kindness and attentiveness. I would stay here again and again. Breakfast was amazing. A great variety and the service was beyond exceptional. Thank you all again for your hospitality. My daughters and I really appreciated it."
"Our double bed has one side down not equally flattened. My husband slept that side the first night. He got back pain the next day. I took his side the next night which he did told me about the trouble of his night earlier. I woke up at 4 with bad pain on the back. So I went to Starbucks for coffee- I couldn’t sleep anymore. Good that my husband got the good slept so he could continue driving for the rest of our trip. Furniture and bed can be improved.. please be aware .."
