"Angela was a great host. I’d recommend anyone staying here visiting southern Illinois. Plenty of space, and if you needed more space to sleep, there’s a lot of floor space for blow up air mattresses, even though they do have 4 full size beds. Very peaceful and tranquil spot in the country. No traffic. No stress. Perfect!"

"If you’re looking for peace and quiet you found it. I sat out on the porch and just looked at the pond. Turned off the cell relaxed and enjoyed the view. The host was very accommodating. The home look just like the pictures and when I arrived the air conditioning was going which was great when your from California and not used to the hot sticky summers in Southern Illinois."

"Quaint and cute home! Very clean and tidy! Clean bedding and towels were provided. Bed was very comfortable. Communication was excellent and check in was super easy which was welcome after moving our daughter out of SIU. Check out was a breeze as well. Food options were close by too. Thank you, Miranda!"

"This property owner is non communicative with both guests and VRBO. They will eventually, at the last minute when prompted by vrbo, send check in instructions and say they expect a 5 star review. We would not feel safe traveling to this property (especially with children) without solid communication. All onus is placed on guests no matter the circumstances. This property owner knows that and works in those parameters. Cannot in good faith recommend this property or host."
