Crystal Pines - Gorgeous Crystal Mountain Cabin Right at Crystal Mountain!

Crystal Pines is a large and gorgeous cabin right at Crystal Mountain! Includes private bonfire ring and indoor jetted tub! Easy access to all Crystal Mountain activities and venues including downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, golf, outdoor laser tag, hiking, playground, alpine slide, indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs, fitness center, horse drawn surrey rides, ice skating, climbing wall, zipline, and great restaurants! There is truly something for everyone ALL YEAR-ROUND!


INTERACTION WITH GUESTS:

We have a local property manager that is available to answer any questions and address any issues.


NEIGHBORHOOD:

The home is located right at Crystal Mountain. It is part of a neighborhood of luxury vacation homes at Crystal Mountain. It is just a short 5 to 10 minute walk to all venues at Crystal Mountain. There is shuttle service available if you do not wish to walk.

The home is also in a great location for exploring northern Michigan! The home is close to a number of great northern Michigan destinations including:

* Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore
* Lake Michigan
* Crystal Lake
* the charming beach towns of Manistee, Onekama, Arcadia, Frankfort, Beulah, and Glen Arbor
* Traverse City
* Interlochen (including Interlochen Arts Academy)
* Arcadia Marsh Nature Preserve
* Arcadia Bluffs Golf Course


GUEST ACCESS:

Guests have access to the entire house, including the laundry room, accessed from the 1st floor bedroom, and a storage area for skis, snowboards, and equipment, accessed from the porch. The only area that is not accessible is an owners' closet that is used for personal storage.


THE SPACE:

The home is decorated in a lovely northern Michigan style with lots of Crystal Mountain decor. It is truly gorgeous both inside and out!


TRANSIT:

There is an on-call, free shuttle service available to take you to anywhere on the Crystal Mountain property, including the ski lifts, golf course, golf learning center, tennis & pickleball courts, the Crystal Spa & Peak Fitness Center, the Michigan Legacy Art Park, brunch at Wild Tomato, or dinner at Kinlochen. Public transportation in the area is limited though, so we do recommend that guests have their own vehicle. (Benzie Bus is available for limited public transportation.)



PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

1) AIR-CONDITIONING: The entire home is air conditioned as each room is equipped with a remote-controlled wall-mounted unit to allow individual temperature control for cooling and heating.

2) LAUNDRY ROOM: Note that the entrance to the laundry room is from within the primary bedroom on the first floor.

3) OUTDOOR BONFIRE RING: The fire pit is available for guest use, but we do not provide firewood. Firewood is available for purchase at most gas stations and grocery stores in the area. Kindling to start a fire is in a wooden box on the back porch. Fire pit tools are in the storage room on the back porch.

4) CRYSTAL MOUNTAIN ACTIVITIES: All activities at Crystal Mountain must be purchased separately. They are not included with the rental.

5) PET POLICY: All pets are strictly prohibited!

6) SKI STORAGE: Please do not bring skis/snowboards/other snow sport equipment into the house. There is a storage closet on the porch for those.

7) INDOOR FIREPLACE: The gas fireplace is easy to use and detailed instructions are provided in the blue Welcome To Crystal Pines notebook. The flames are ignited by remote control and there is no need to adjust the pilot light or flue.

8) NUMBER OF GUESTS: Please note that our pricing is based upon the number of guests, with pricing being higher with each additional guest that is included on the reservation. Please make certain that the correct number of guests is specified on the reservation so that the pricing is correct.

9) EARLY CHECK-IN: Our policy is to allow early check-in on the day of arrival if the property is available for check-in. We will not know until the day before arrival whether or not the property will be available for early check-in or not. You can check with our local property manager the day before arrival or on your arrival day to see if the property will be available for early check-in or not.

10) LATE CHECK-OUT: We maintain a very strict and structured cleaning schedule. As such, late check-outs are strictly prohibited.

11) OUTDOOR GRILLING: There is both a gas grill and a charcoal grill at the property for outdoor grilling.

12) ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING: There is not an electric vehicle charger at the house, but electric vehicle charging is available and complimentary on the Crystal Mountain property in the parking lot across from the Crystal Spa & Peak Fitness Center, a short 10-minute walk from the house.

13) SMOKING POLICY: Smoking/vaping is strictly prohibited inside the home.
