The 1st room had an extension cord running from bath to frig. Other outlets did not work. They moved me to another room. I stayed 3 nights..never had bed made up.

The room was just ok,not especially that clean. The coffee pot literally exploded! I told the front desk and they said nothing. I had to walk across the street to the store to get coffee in the morning. There were no blankets on the bed just a sheet. I am cold natured so I froze all night.

Horribly dirty & unsanitary. Dirty & stained bedding, bugs, filthy floor, bathroom door missing knob & broken...I could go on & on. I'd sleep in my car before staying here again!

We did not stay after we checked in! The room was filthy and there were people loitering on the property and smoking marijuana. The bathroom was not usable. We went back to front desk and checked out!! Will never stay there!!

The room itself was fair. The main floor was very dirty, two lights in the room didn't work and it seemed like they were renovating the room at the time. The bathroom floor was unfinished. The in-roon AC unit over the bathroom would blow small black particles (likely parts of the filter) onto the lavatory. These deficiencies aside, my stay was ok for the price I paid.

The room was less than pleasant. The coffee maker was full of mold and the lights flickered. There were unpatched holes in the wall. Service at the front desk was super great.

Filthiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in…
This is, hands down, the filthiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. And I stay in a LOT of hotels for work. I have NO idea how your rating is so high, it makes me think it is artificially inflated with fake reviews??? If it was not the end of a 700 mile drive and late at night and there were more options, I’d have left.

The front desk staff was excellent in all respects. My room however was probably the worst I’ve ever stayed in. Very old, splatters on walls, chipped tile, bathtub so bad I didn’t even use it. Bed was very poorly made (lumpy, wrinkled). I’m not sure if everything was just old and worn out or dirty. Fridge DID work. Lovely exterior of inn and good location but will never stay there again.

I have no idea how this has such good ratings. The room was completely disgusting. There was food under the beds, a chicken bone in the floor, holes in the walls, a sock in the bed, brown smears on the bathroom door, it was so bad. We got a new room, and that one had a huge roach under the bathroom sink. So I requested a full refund and we left. The gal at the front desk was really nice and helpful.

Dated but convenient
Hotel is very dated. Bed was very uncomfortable and old. Shower is old and patched. Walls have stuff dripping down on them. Price was cheaper than the other hotels.

Check each room prior to paying
Room 111 should be avoided if possible…not sure about the rest the units?!? Needs a complete makeover including new bedding. We had a service dog with us but no excuse for the filth and needed repairs…so check the room prior to paying as ours was non-refundable!

The property is in a good area and easy to get to but it needs MAJOR remodeling or cosmetic updates. The pictures online must be heavily photoshopped. Staff was nice and helpful.

Thank you for your review and for choosing to stay with us. We are an older hotel, opened in 1973. We have had some renovations throughout the years and we agree we could use some more updated renovations. We try to keep our rates fair since we are an older property with lots if history and quaint charm. We hope to see you again soon!

Luckily I had Lysol wipes in my car. The room was so dirty and I left it much cleaner than I found it. I didn’t get any sleep due to people yelling outside my room. I paid for two nights but left after one. Nobody at the front desk when I checked out a day early This is not a safe place to stay for someone traveling alone!

Yes, we do require an additional 250.00 security deposit if you live within 30 miles of the hotel and you have not stayed here 3 or more times with in the last 3 years. This is because we have had issues that required us to get an additional deposit from locals due to damages or smoking, etc. If you do not want to put the deposit or cannot put the deposit we understand and would be happy to cancel your reservation for you and would even be happy to help you find other accommodations. Bathroom not cleaned
The lady at the front desk was very nice. The sleeping area was okay, but the bathroom had not been properly cleaned. Shower and toliet was dirty. Walls thin, neighbor was loud. It’s an old place that needs some renovations.

They wanted a $250 deposit, which I wasn’t aware of till I got there, on rough times so I didn’t have it atm , had to go elsewhere, so much for a good nights rest , after a hard days wok

We sent the local deposit information to you before you arrived. We try to let everyone know that ASAP. The deposit is only for guest that live within 30 miles of the hotel. We only enforce this to protect our property. If no one smokes in the room or nothing is damaged then the 250 is returned. Once the guest stays here 3 times we no longer require the deposit. If any one chooses not to put the deposit we understand and its no hard feelings but since you did not stay how was your experience terrible? We are just following our rules.
