"This is our second time staying at Shepherd's Run and we loved it again! We stayed during the week (with our 2 kids) and it is very quiet. I know there are weddings there on the weekends. The Inn and grounds are beautiful, the wine and charcuterie boards are amazing, the rooms are big and nicely updated with modern finishes and the breakfast is delicious!! I can't say enough good things about this wonderful Inn! "

"I loved how unique the Shepherd's Run property is. My King room in the Manor was quite nice (comfy bed, big bathroom, huge walk-in shower). The breakfast buffet offered a nice variety of foods with slightly different variation both mornings. I'm looking forward to staying at Shepherd's Run again so I can try their own wine!"

"The entire staff was super polite and friendly upon arrival and when I checked out. They made the entire process super easy and stress free. I loved the space, it was in a very safe and in a great area with lots of restaurants/shops. The hotel was very clean and had free breakfast which was a great touch. I would absolutely book again!"

The courtyard in the center of the property is a peaceful place to have morning coffee or rest between excursions. "Stayed two nights on the first floor and loved the cleanliness and added touches the staff members provide (welcome gift bag, spa-style slippers!, flavored water, sangria, etc.). The breakfast was so good! We stayed at another inn in RI right before this stay and Mill Street Inn has the other beat. We easily walked to the Breakers, cliff walk, shops and restaurants in the harbor area. No issues with check-in or check-out, convenient parking. I would stay here again."

"This place is a gem in the heart of Newport. Every year, I consider staying somewhere else, but we always end up coming back here. The staff is wonderful, and the waterview rooms are unbeatable. We even extended our stay because we were having such a great time. Already looking forward to returning next year!"

"Jeg har boet på mange hoteller igennem mit liv, og mange som var billige og derfor ikke i så god stand, og som lå dårligt. Dette sted er dog det værste sted jeg nogensinde har boet! Det ligger dårligt (ved siden af et fængsel), værelserne er klamme (ens hud begynder at klø, pga lagnerne), der har boet en mand som fremstillede amphetamin på sit værelse, politiet kommer forbi hver aften, da der bor tidligere kriminelle på værelserne, og man følger sig generelt ikke særlig sikker!
