"Laikyns Lodge is an amazing home on a beautiful sprawling property. It is a beautiful, huge log home with quality everywhere. Amazing indoor and outdoor spaces. The warm indoor pool kept 5 kids (and their parents) busy. The walk from the pool to the outdoor hot tub was cold but well worth it. On clear nights, the fire pit is a great gathering spot. "To start to say this place was great is an understatement! Was the perfect place for my wife and I’s first wedding anniversary. Check in and check out were very simple. The evenings and mornings were relaxing as could be with the location being very secluded. Cabin was very very clean and comfy all the way around. "My 18-year-old daughter, and I spent 3 nights in Hocking Hills at the chalets A-frame cabins. Location was convenient to All of the hiking locations. The cabin itself was very clean and had everything we needed, and we appreciated that it was pet friendly. The area was very quiet and the hot tub was clean in good working condition. "The cabin is beautifully situated on a hilltop with beautiful views!! The kids loved the hot tub. The cabin was very clean but I do recommend bringing an extra pillow if you sleep with more than one pillow. Also, if using the hot tub, bring extra towels because you only get 4. "For any "vintage" lovers, this is the village to stay in. We enjoy antiques, history, etc and this is such a great place to enjoy those things. We recommend taking an electric skillet or slow cooker as there are no ways to cook for yourself. The microwave is currently out of commission so plan for that or check before you go.
