The hotel is a historic building and very charming, but the rooms are not soundproof. You can hear walking and talking from nearby rooms and upstairs, but being in the center of town was worth it. Bathroom clean with good shower gel, soap and shampoo. Lovely fresh towels . Excellant breakfast cooked to order. Added bonus of free parking and in good location. "

However, some of the fittings were looking rather tired (torn curtains, flaking paintwork) and there were missing skirting boards. We also never found the switch for the lights in the bathroom! The cleaning wasn't very thorough - the inside of the fridge was dirty/stained and the drawers of the bathroom cabinet were awful. It was located in a nice area, which felt very safe and parking was easy. It's about a 25 minute...
