"Loved how genuinely hospitable and real this lodging felt! Not to mention the warm and welcoming owner, the spectacular view of Whiteface mountain (so close that I felt that I could reach out and touch it), the majestic music on arrival, and the oodles of personality in every inch of it.......the likes of which is so missing in the cookie-cutter lodgings that we are so accustomed to! It is an experience to stay here and I am grateful for that experience. Can't wait to return. TY, Walter!! ...

"I loved everything. The ease of parking right outside of your room. The grounds were so pretty at night, kit up and a real fire pit. It was peaceful. Shelly and her staff were always available with any questions.
I ate dinner the 1st night there and it was delicious and welcoming.
I even extended my stay a night.
I booked it to see the Olympics ice skating championships which was just a 15 minute drive.
There really isn't anything around there to eat or shop so just got to Hannafords ahead of...

"Adorable place in a great spot for adventuring. Everything we needed for a few nights stay. Clean!! Room was a bit smaller than we anticipated but we that’s on us. Bigger options if you like to spread out. Super easy check in and out. "

"My girlfriend and I LOVED this place. It's not the Marriot or some chain, so it's a bit unique and has quirks, and that's why it's awesome. The room was small but comfortable, the bed very comfy. There was no TV in the room, which I really liked. Great shower. Outside there was a little deck with chairs so we could relax, listen to the Ausable River and look at the lovely grounds. There was also a restaurant area (closed while we were there) that we could sit in for meals or just to hang out....

"This is truly the diamond in the rough, what a find! We stayed in the Jenny suite and it was charming. We ate dinner in the main room and it was five star all the way this place is a culinary gemstone! Make sure you make a reservation early as the dining room fills up quickly. We will definitely be back to the stagecoach on our next trip to lake placid. "

"I liked that this property is not right in the middle of the main street, but close enough. Loved the pool and the quiet. The staff is very friendly. Thanking Rodney for his help with housekeeping.
The mattress in our deluxe king was sunken in the middle and the pillows were too big and fat for me. A little updating would do wonders, but overall, I would definitely recommend this property."
