"Stunning place to stay.
We stayed in room 30 on the 4th floor and the view was amazing.
Very comfortable bed, chairs by the window to sit and enjoy the view.
Breakfast was lovely too.

"Hotellet der får dig til at føle dig som Pretty Woman. Fantastisk service. Stor ros til personalet og i øvrigt dejlig mad i restauranten og meget, meget lækker morgenmad. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen når vi kommer på de kanter. "

Hotellets ejere var så venlige, imødekommende og åbne og gav mig sightseeingtips.
Jeg havde stor glæde af det hjemlige og hyggeligt indrettede værelse og den lækre morgenmad.
Beliggenheden er også i top, da man kan se havet, så snart man går ud af hotellet, og at man på 5-10 min. kan gå til de fleste steder, bl.a. Brighton Pier, Royal Pavillon og selve byen.
Det eneste negative var, at der var en større...
"Hotellet har kun få værelser og man føler at personalet kender en og de er alle meget opmærksomme på dig. Pæne lokaler og junior suiten i underetagen var meget stor, og pæn, og næsten en selvstændig lejlighed med egen indgang. Parkering er ikke muligt på hotellet, men vi kunne parkere på gaden tæt på hotellet. Morgenmad er individuelt tilpasset og man kan få hvad man ønsker i topkvalitet."

From the outset, the check-in process was problematic. We asked the receptionist several times for help with parking, but he was unsure which parking garage the hotel had an agreement with and had to call around to find a promotion code. He appeared generally confused, which led to us parking...
"What sets this hotel apart from all the others, are the staff. While many are getting rid of receptions in the city this one is not and it makes such a difference. We were so well looked after. The continental breakfast is also substantial and good quality. You can also upgrade to a cooked breakfast for a reasonable price. Would definitely come back"
"This is a lovely hotel. Great service and very nice breakfast with a super buffet and cooked breakfast (in the hotel next-door). The only small downside was that I got a basement room but otherwise the room was nice and very comfortable."
"What a wonderful eclectic hotel with a strong punk/ sex positive vibe.
If you are looking for a 'normal' experience don't go. If you want something truly special where every item of decoration feels perfect in place. Where the staff are genuinely friendly and warm and treat you truly as guests I could not recommend more strongly."

"Had a nice stay at the Metropol in Brighton. Family of 4 on sixth floor with sea view.
It isn’t advertised but the pool is not to be used by kids before 9am and after 6pm so watch that.
The windows were droughty and couldn’t be fully closed tightly. In the last night a strong wind was pounding the windows all night and blew cold wind into the room which wasn’t great. Also being a sea view there is also the main road just down below. Motorbike have a habit of racing off the traffic...

From the outset, the check-in process was problematic. We asked the receptionist several times for help with parking, but he was unsure which parking garage the hotel had an agreement with and had to call around to find a promotion code. He appeared generally confused, which led to us parking in the wrong garage and incurring a charge of £86 for three days — an unnecessary expense that could have been avoided with proper guidance.
We were assigned a family room for two adults and two children, but it was clearly too small to accommodate four beds. There was virtually no floor space, and we found ourselves crawling over luggage and beds to move around. While we do not expect spacious accommodations for four people in a single room, it would have been helpful to know in advance that space would be this restricted.
In addition, the room was not properly prepared for four guests — only three sets of towels were provided. We had to go to reception to request the missing set, which took several hours and follow-ups before it was finally delivered.
One of the most disappointing aspects of our stay was the condition of the room. It was clearly not properly cleaned — we’ve attached photos that speak for themselves."

The fam loved the buffet breakfast and tbh it was better than that offered by the Grand in Brighton :-)
Bed was comfortable although a little hard and the bathroom sink had a crack in it though completely usable.
Would we stay there again? Probably as it was pretty good value for Brighton "
"Hotellet ligger kun en kort gåtur fra stationen og dermed meget centralt ift the Laines, shoppingcentret m.m. To små supermarkeder lige i nærheden. 10 min gang fra strand og pier. Meget imødekommende personale. Jeg prøvede ikke maden. Der var æidt støj fra gaden ud på aften/nat, men det var ikke slemt."
