"We really enjoyed our stay at the Woodstock Way. We had a beautiful view of the waterfall and stream and enjoyed the balcony. The bubbling water and surrounding woods made it feel like a retreat, but we were a short walk away from cute and quirky places to grab breakfast or lunch and shop. It was a very unique experience and my only regret was that I didn't book an additional day (or two),"
"This is a small, new hotel, nestled along the railtrain in New Paltz. It's "along" in the sense that the rooms are lined up, balconies facing the railtrail, and immediately beyond (through a treeline) the Wallkill. It's well sited on a beautiful site. Of course the railtrail is convenient, as is Water Street Market, which also follows the rail trail. It's also just a short walk into town, to the bridge across the Wallkill and a trial that leads to the ridge, and up the railtrail and to the left,...
"The property is set in a small quaint area overlooking the river. The hotel and additional buildings are really pretty and our room was huge and comfortable for three people.
The staff were attentive, the beds were comfortable, and the shower hot. We were going to a show at the Basilica Hudson so although it was a short stay, it was wonderful and would highly recommend.
We didn’t partake in the restaurant, live music or breakfast, but all seemed to be a great addition."
"The property is located very close to the Performing Arts Center. I would not recommend walking to a performance, but it is less than a mile from the venue entrance. The hostess is lovely and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious! We had a comfortable stay."
