"I stayed here for four days and it was comfortable."

"Very friendly staff, it’s a great hotel right on PB with tons of restaurants and bars on the walk!"

"This resort is dreamy! The staff is incredible and sweet!"

"Beautiful small boutique hotel in gorgeous La Jolla. Perfect place to stay. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach!"

"The hotel is on the beach. With lovely seating on outdoor decking, beautiful daily sunsets could be comfortably watched. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The staff was wonderful and helpful."

"Of all of my stays in this area, this was my least favorite hotel. First, although bungalow sounds luxurious, the room is actually in a row of rooms so more like a motel. The outside faces a parking lot so no view. Like any other motel it has two tiny windows so little light in the room. Further, a Toto toilet sounds nice, but it is not in a water closet so it is constantly beeping and extremely annoying in the small room. They should have used the money for this on a better tv since the only...

"Restaurant inside hotel was horrible don’t even try it"

"Nice hotel. Large room. Very friendly staff. We didn't get to try the pool as weather wasn't good enough. Breakfast was okay - slight problem with free spaces but we managed. Only thing a bit annoying is eating from plasticware - but thats aparently normal around hotels in the US."

"Lovely stay, we always love the Wayfarer. It’s not fancy but it’s clean, cute and RIGHT on the beach- location is a dream and parking is a breeze. Right on the Mission Beach / PB Boardwalk, steps to the beach, just heaven. Always a helpful and friendly staff! Highly recommend!"

"Ugh. We stayed two days for a wedding at La Valencia and booked a suite. We are SD natives and my husband grew up in LA Jolla. It was located a bit away from the front desk and up a steep portion of a hill with stairs. Tough to navigate in a gown and heels and a workout with all our bags to get to valet when leaving. Be sure to plan some time for the valet to get your car. The room is VERY dated and the layout needs to be better thought out. Wear socks on the carpet! Our neighbors room service...
