"We booked the full ocean view room but was given one small room on second floor with roof top obstruction. I called front desk immediately to complain and was given one on 5th, a much larger n nicer room with full view of the gulf. The shower head is amazing, the room is clean with nice decor, bed is firm and supportive. The frig might be a bit noisy. A very nice stay indeed.The ball room, the pool and the common areas are spectacular, full of history "

"We stayed here with our grown children and grandchild. Lovely rooms but rowdy people in the VIP floor. Very noisy elevator which precipitated a room change.
There are not enough regular lounge chairs or umbrellas because most loungers are for the cabana rentals--$700. Yes, you read that right.
