Summary:
Nestled on 5 acres, this beautiful secluded log cabin has unmatched Teton views. Large covered patios with comfortable furniture, a fire pit with plenty of seating, and a hot tub, this cabin gives you the perfect venue to enjoy Teton views with solitude. If you are visiting Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone, skiing Grand Targhee, or visiting Jackson Hole, this large cabin is the perfect place to enjoy a peaceful vacation in the mountains.

The Space:
This 2800 sq ft cabin has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 large living areas, and a laundry room. The living area downstairs has 2 bunk beds, a foosball table, seating around a flatscreen TV, and plenty of kids toys and books. The bedroom downstairs is very large and has a spacious walk-in closet. The bathroom downstairs was recently remodeled. The upstairs has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a large kitchen, dining room, and living room. The best feature of the cabin is the outdoor seating with spectacular Teton views. The yard is made to entertain with a picnic table, benches around a fire pit, horseshoes, corn hole, a kids play fort, hot tub, and hanging chairs. The 2-car garage is also available for use.

The home is self-check-in and out. Property details will be sent one week before check-in.

A dirt road entrance will give you access the home. There are two tiny homes on the property which are also rented to travelers.

Great house for a big crew skiing Targhee. Dog friendly was a bonus. Garage was great for gear storage. Views amazing! Other perks: open living plan, laundry (big machines!), 1st floor hangout for teens, grill. Can see how this would be a terrific warm weather rental. Lots of great outdoor hangout spots! Could use more serving bowls real glassware (not plastic). There was a note deterring woodstove use, which was a bummer. But all minor details to a really great long stay. Views surpass everything!

Excellent service! The host was very accommodating. The house was CLEAN. We have stayed at several Vrbos and this ranks as one of the cleanest properties. It was approx 25 minutes to Targhee ski resort and had great views of the Tetons! Stay here - you won't regret it. THANK YOU for a wonderful stay!

Very clean and very beautiful views any way you turned from the upstairs. Plenty of room for everyone. We stayed here as a jumping off point to listed the Grand Tetons and it more than met our needs. If you need a great pizza spot, I highly recommend Get Baked in downtown Driggs. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Nice place, great views!

This cabin was an excellent place to relax after a long day skiing. The hot tub was great in the evening under the stars and the sunrise over the Tetons was majestic. Sven was quite responsive and helpful. We struggled a little bit to regulate the temperature with some of the baseboard heaters, but this was easily fixed by cracking a window open. Would definitely recommend this place!

First time in Targhee

Property's great, the views are amazing! Quick drive to the grocery store or the Mts. to play. Hot tube was great and the backyard perfect for building snowman with the family. Sven is wonderful, is to communicate with and prompt to respond to any questions. Would love to visit again!!!

Beautiful Convenient Quiet Well Run!

This property was actually better than the pictures. Beautiful view of the west side of the Tetons. We found it convenient while a quiet area. There is a great grocery store in Driggs a couple miles away. If you want the touristy Jackson hole that is a drive as are most of the entrances to Teton National Park. Day trip yes, 1/2 day trip not so much, but there are beautiful (and less busy) national forest hikes on the West side. Yellowstone, again day trip for part of the park yes. We have stayed on the Wyoming side and this is so much more relaxed and enjoyable. The property is self is very well and professionally run, and the bed we slept on was very comfortable. Be aware there are two smaller places on the property - one you can barely notice, the other is well separated. If we get a chance to return to the Tetons this will be our place to stay and plenty of room for the whole family.

The property was BEAUTIFUL! The location was perfect for us hiking at both Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park! The property had an amazing view of the Tetons and was easy to get to and clean! Would definitely stay there again!

Great views, good location, perfect for our family travels out West

The house had great views! We loved waking up to the Mountain View every morning and watching the horses. It felt private and secluded despite a few other houses being around. We stayed on the 4th of July and had great views of fireworks all over the valley in front of the mountains. We appreciated that the house was fully stocked compared to other homes we have rented (toilet paper, paper towels, kitchen items, spices, zip lock bags, bear spray, etc.) The beds/bedding were nice and a good layout for 3 couples and the 4 kids on the bunks. The open kitchen/living layout was nice for big family dinners. Our boys loved the foosball, bags set,fire pit and hot tub which kept them entertained on our free days/evenings. The location ended up being great to explore the area. We spent a day in South Dakota at Badlands and Custer State Park on the way in. We drove an hour to Jackson hole as well as Teton village and the Teton National Forest. It was 1.5 hours to the west entrance of Yellowstone. We drove 20 minutes to the Teton Mountain Ranch for horseback riding (highly recommend). We drove less than an hour to the St Anthony sand dunes. And we spent a day exploring the little city of Driggs (craft fair, some shopping and lunch). Only suggestions would be more games stocked, more info in the welcome book about area activities/recommended tours and the ceiling fans need a good dust (but overall pretty clean).

Nice property and beautiful view, you can see the Grand Tetons in the distance from the hot tub! Hot tub was very nice! We cooked at the house every night, plenty of cooking pots and pans and plenty of dishes! We had a great time and would recommend!

Beautiful House!

Overall very happy with our stay! The house was clean and beautiful. Communication with the owners was easy and fast. The only issues we had were with the hot tub… we had to reset the circuit breaker multiple times a day to get it to work, but it did get hot enough to use each day after resetting the breaker. It would be nice to have a TV in the upstairs living room too, but that’s just our personal preference! Thank you Sven!

Perfect for a family or group

This is a very lovely home for a family or group stay with beautiful views of the Tetons. We were skiing at Grand Targhee with 3 adult children. Easy to get to flying in from Jackson and half hour from the slopes in Targhee. Only 10 min up the road from the shops and restaurants in Driggs. Was really handy to have a garage for the winter. Lots of pluses — very clean, owner was easy to communicate with, well equipped kitchen for cooking real meals, large table and gathering spaces for groups, having 2 king beds was great, lots of extra towels, toiletries, dish and laundry soaps and those sorts of needs, heaters kept rooms warm, washer and dryer right there Unfortunately during our stay the hot tub wasn’t working which was a bummer. If it wasn’t for that this would’ve been a 5-star stay for sure. But the owner did try to provide some work arounds, we managed to use it one night, and ultimately they gave us some money off our stay which was very appreciated. Only other note I have for families is there are some games and books for smaller children (and pack and play), but not adult/family games. I left a puzzle, and the Corner Store in Driggs has lots of puzzles and games. We had brought our own deck of cards and our friends had dominoes so we were good. Since it’s a bit remote, it’s nice to have activities for the evenings after a ski day. Wi-Fi and TV also worked great so we could watch movies and sports, wifi worked with everyone on their devices too.

Family vacation

Fantastic house for a big adult family vacation. Got a ton of use from the fire pit and horseshoes. The views of the Tetons really are stunning. Bedroom set up was great, nice that none of the bathrooms were attached to a bedroom. Huge kitchen island. Loved the sunrise/sunset views, crazy amount of stars. Could see many different birds from the deck, along with horses. Heard coyotes every night which was cool. Worked perfect as a base camp to do hikes on the Driggs side of the mountains, and not a bad trip to get to the Jackson side. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend. A few small things 1) Would have been nice to use the woodburner inside but not allowed. 2) We could not get the hot tub controls to work and the host was not able to help, we figured it out eventually by looking up the manual online. Especially since "hot tub" is in the proprety name on vrbo, it would have been nice to get better help/instructions on this. 3) No wood at the house, the host said gas stations best bet but we ended up seeing multiple local places selling wood that would have probably been cheaper and better burning 4) The bunk beds are really wobbly. We were all adults and decided to put a top mattress on the ground rather than sleep on top, which worked fine since the downstairs is big 5) (this one is super minor) the place could use some more coffee mugs and tupper ware.

Really Nice for all girls trip

The property was very clean and Sven communicated very clearly. We are a group of 4 over 50 long term friends and chose Sven’s house for our trip to the Tetons. It was conveniently located and had a beautiful view out the back window/doors. We did not use the hot tub so cannot comment on that. We did love that there were plenty of towels and pillows. So much so that we did not have to launder towels for our entire 3 day stay. We would definitely recommend this home and rent it again if we were in the area in the future.

Those mountains!

My family rented this property in mid May. The house was great. The check in process was very easy, and the manager was quick to communicate with us. The nearest town with grocery store, restaurants and shopping was only 10 minutes away (Driggs, ID). Jackson, Wyoming was a 50 minute drive thru the mountains (a beautiful drive). The star memory was the mountains. Sitting on the porch, in the hot tub, at the dinner table, taking a walk/run down the dirt road…they are there in the distance and they are beautiful. The beds in the house were very comfortable, and there was plenty of space. We split time between the Grand Teton National Park (a little over an hour away), and Yellowstone National Park (about an hour and forty minutes). This property gave us access to the parks with a reasonable drive, and the peace that we needed at the end of long days of fun.
