"Before my trip I couldn't find out if Pestana Tropico or Oasis Atlantico was the best hotel in Praia, so I booked two nights on both. Now I am not in doubt - Pestana Tropico is the best! Only on location is it a bit inferior to Oasis Atlantico, bujt that is more then compensated for by the very service minded staff and the great restaurant. The pool area on Pestana Tropico is also much nicer than the one at Oasis Atlantico. When you book, try if you can get room 256, which is absolutely the...

"Good breakfast and near to a supermarket and restaurants. 5 minutes from a beach. Be careful when i did check in they wanted to pay again the fares and taxes! Took 2 days to resolve the problem. They speak in escudos and we don’t understand cuz we think is the city tax ( 23€) and they wanted me to pay around 300€!! Take whit u all the receives to prove what u did already paid. The rest everything was good. "

"De ting der står de har eksempelvis poolbar er ikke eksisterende, personalet virkede i første omgang ikke til rigtig og ville hjælpe. Lidt slidt og beskidt ud over værelset som var i fin stand. Derudover ligger hotellet direkte op af en byggeplads dører og det larmede fra kl 8 om morgenen til 8 om aftenen alt i alt ikke en så god oplevelse"

"This was my first visit to Cape Verde and I will definitely stay here again on any future visits. The entire property was very neat and clean and reasonably priced. Loved the unique decor. From the front desk to the bartender…Every single member of the staff was super friendly and helpful, even with problems I had trying to move around the country away from the hotel. They definitely went above and beyond. I absolutely recommend!"
