2Bedroom 2bath in-law unit with kitchen and washer
Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway, situated in an organic citrus farm on a 27-acre private land with mountain and valley view of citrus and avocados groves. This unit has its own private entrance and a private deck with outdoor sink, BBQ and dining area. The indoor living space is about 930 sf, and the deck area is about 750 sf. The house is powered by solar array and Tesla batteries, so we won’t have a blackout even during power outages as long as not a lot of AC being used.
The space
This is a custom designed and built six bedroom and six bath Oriental/Italian style house with high end appliances (mostly Thermador). The unit in this listing is a two-bedrooms/two bath in-law unit in that house with a small living room that has a sofa that can turn into a full-size sofa bed serving as a third bedroom to sleep six. Other units in that house consist of a master unit and a guest corner on the second floor. Each unit has its own entrance, kitchen, and living space. This in-law unit has a full-size kitchen with indoor dining areas, a washing machine and a private deck with outdoor sink, BBQ and outdoor dining area. Guests in this unit do not share anything with anyone who may live in other part of the house.
Some doors connecting to other part of house lockable from your side are screened off to prevent you or your kids from unintentionally opening except as emergency escape routes. Other side of those screened off doors are accessible to host only and not to guests living in any units.
Guest access
Guests have full access to the whole unit as well as your side of the courtyard, but do not enter the screened-off and locked doors except by permission or during emergency as escape route. Do not go into garage. Garage is not part of this listing.
Other things to note
Outdoor smoke in designated area only using provided water can for ash to prevent bush fire.
Some of the surrounding areas may not have cell phone signal even though we do have signal here at the house. Drive carefully because if you get lost, it is difficult to get back the navigation without cellphone signal.
This house has stucco as outside surface. Due to the wire frame of the stucco structure, the indoor cell reception is poor except for rooms with windows facing the towers. This unit does not have window facing the towers. You may need to go outside to get better cell reception.
The closest restaurants around are about 10-minute drive and 17-minute drive old town area restaurants. If you check in late in the day, it is better for you to eat before checking in.
Early check in request needs to be made in advance and is accommodated on best effort base with following guideline: Dropping off luggage and car as well using restroom near entrance after 12pm. Rest of the unit is not available at this time. Early check in after 2pm is possible but not guaranteed. If the unit is not ready when you arrive, you may have to wait at the deck area. This is not advised for guest with a fixed schedule like events at 3pm.
To prevent guests coming in before 12pm therefore potential conflicting with previous night guests, we will not issue access codes before 12pm. If you have special needs, please contact host but you should not plan to arrive before 12pm without prior permission.
