Great location

The property was clean, easily accessible, and in a great location. The unit was exactly as pictured we found it was the perfect place to enjoy a mountain getaway!

Great Ski Location

Cozy for a family of four. The location is great. Hot tub and heated pool were nice after day of skiing.

Quick Ski Getaway

This property was perfect for a long weekend stay. The location was walkable to the lift and gondola as well as all the town restaurants and shopping. The unit had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We love Telluride and will keep this property on our list of favorites.

Beautiful, centrally located

The property was immaculate and nicely appointed. The location was just a few blocks from downtown, was quiet and had beautiful views in all directions. Great hiking, restaurants and shopping nearby. Would definitely stay again.

Telluride Getaway

The property was very clean and everything the rental process smooth. There was clear communication with the property owner. It was in an amazing location. We would stay again if we come back to Telluride.

Just right!

This property was just the perfect size for my wife and I. It had everything we needed for a week-long stay. It is described accurately and has everything you need to stay in an cook. It is also close to all the restaurants, bars and shops in town. It is closest to the parking lot lift but also a nice walk to the Oak St lift and gondola.

Great spot!

What a great place to serve as home base for exploring Telluride and the surrounding areas. Perhaps the nicest mattresses and bed linens I have ever slept on in a rental property. The front room with the window seat overlooking the river was so cozy for reading or just relaxing after a day exploring. Highly recommend!!

Family ski holiday

Great location for access to lift 7 and gondola. We did not have a vehicle and were able to walk to everything we needed.

Perfect Location

It's walking distance from all the restaurants downtown and to the gondola. It's a short 20 minute walk to the sledding hill for those with kids like us. Great location and the place itself was well taken care of and plenty of space for 4 people. The couch converts into another bed. Our only complaint was that the bathroom is in the middle of everything so you disturb whoever is sleeping in the bunk beds if you have to use the bathroom in the night.

Great condo

I enjoyed staying at this condo. I liked the location although it is a few blocks from the gondola and downtown. When I first arrived the breaker was tripped and the heat wasn’t working. I had to call to after hours person to figure that out. So if you have no heat. Check the breaker first. Otherwise great space and very cozy. Kitchen was well equipped for a rental.

Cozy Condo Close to it All

We enjoyed our stay here with easy access to the gondola (along a beautiful, creekside path) and walking distance to the town and all the shops and restaurants. We were going to use the fold out bed but the sofa is not in good repair (hard to fold out the mattress as a bolt is missing) and this hasn't been used in a while as evidenced with food crumbs and dust. Fortunately, the bunk is available and just fine for adults under 5'10" - not the most comfy of mattresses but my sister loved the main bed. Only other drawback was the noise level. This is a wood frame building and our neighbor upstairs got home very late most evenings and banged around upstairs for hours. Overall, though, a pleasant place. Laundry is not in the unit as well - fyi.

The unit itself was updated and comfortable for us. The walls are paper thin, however. Combined with mixed housing situation of some sketchy resident renters, subletters, and vacationers like you, you should skip Viking Lodge Condos altogether. We had bad noise issues from the unit above us every morning and evening. The house rules you receive are different from others staying in the condo complex. Apparently barking dogs, large dogs and people running up and down the outdoor hallways keeping you awake or ruining your cozy afternoon are welcome. One evening they came home late and the noise was incomprehensible. It was so bad and late that we thought we were perhaps on a TV show. When we complained to the actual rental agency (not really Expedia), they were very nice and apologetic but told us that we should call 911. Yes 911. They did quickly relay our complaint to the HOA Manager but we didn’t hold our breath. The hot tub had been broken for weeks and the HOA comedically said it was not going to get fixed anytime soon. On a positive note, we did have a good laugh on the morning we were leaving - there was a nastygram from the HOA manager taped to our (luxury) car saying that we were in violation of the HOA rules because we folded our parking pass in 1/2 to not reveal our unit # or last name (only the dates we were staying). We didn’t move our car for the duration of our stay.

Perfect location

This was the perfect place for our family of 3. The check in process was easy, it was super close to the gondola and town and we loved sitting in the window watching the River and the skiers. The shower was probably my favorite part..so relaxing! The only down fall - to no fault of the property owners! - was how loud our upstairs neighbors were. They would stomp around until 11:00 and were constantly waking our 8 month old son up. The walls are pretty thin so something to consider if you don’t like hearing other people. Besides that one minor inconvenience it was perfect and we’d definitely stay here again.

Perfect location

Great spot to walk to everything in Telluride and catch the Gondola or Galloping Goose. Views of the river out back and the mountains were beautiful. Had everything we needed.
