"Lovely host, immaculately kept rooms tastefully decorated and comfortable. Delicious well presented breakfast again with a homely style service.
If I could give more than 5 stars for everything I would.
Note: We've stayed in hundreds of hotesl/B&B's over the years and this is at the top of te league for service, value for money and quality."

"The room was spotless, you can tell it was recently renovated. The amenities were amazing, the beds were super comfortable and we had one of the best sleeps we’ve ever had at a hotel.
The breakfast the next day was phenomenal, there is good choice. We went for the vegetarian breakfast and those veggie sausages were top class! Kids also loved the pancakes.
All in all a very pleasant stay, the finishing touches on the refurbishment are all high quality, and the food is clearly sourced from the...

"Very spacious well equipped cottage situated just off the main street of Barnard Castle right by the parish church. We were able to check in early, which was a big help, and when we arrived we delighted to see how spotlessly clean it was. The beds and furnishing were comfortable and would have no hesitation in reccommending the cottage to our friends and family"
