I left Atlanta at 3:30 PM and got into Key Largo at 3:00 AM. Slept for a couple hours in my car and went in search of a sunrise. I hoped to find a dock falling into the water, but this was just as good. I also went from 37 degrees to 74 degrees. That was interesting.

Oh my goodness, this place is HEAVEN! All the palm trees, right on the water, plenty of water toys like kayaks and best paddle board, a HOT TUB! I dream of coming back. Plus the host was super kind and very very helpful. We had a 3 generation family holiday and all of us were pleased as punch. Dreamy!

The pictures do not do this property justice! We were blown away! A incredible property; so much to see and do, and the accommodations were clean, well stocked and well maintained. This is honestly the best rental we have ever stayed at. Perfect for families of all ages! We plan to come back.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this private paradise. It was peaceful and relaxing. The beach was wonderful. We enjoyed kayaking and playing corn hole. The sunsets were lovely. The two houses are quaint and the beds were comfy. We were not disappointed.

Paradise. The end. I cannot possibly describe just how perfect this location is. We were seeking a family getaway that was secluded and had a beach...hard to find in the keys, but Sunset Beach Hidwaway was perfect! Management responded quickly and ensured our stay was as comfortable as possible. Both cottages were very clean. We enjoyed time on the water with the provided paddle board & kayaks. I highly recommend and we will definitely return!

The property was just as exotic as was presented. Lots of reptilian life as well as sea creatures. Lots of coconut producing palms. Perfect little cove for my 6 year old daughter to play and swim. We loved it . Immediatresponse

Sunset Beach

This is a wonderful property with very attentive caretakers. The private beach was great for morning coffee and evening cocktails. We used the kayaks and paddle boards to explore. The houses were comfortable, clean, with a true beach house feel. Lots of towels, beach chairs, shore birds and geckos. We had a very good time!

Beautiful and Relaxing

This is a real gem of a property. While it is not a large property, it is protected from the highway by a lockable gate and large rock/coral sound wall, and from the properties on either side by thick trees and vegetation. Opening out to the Gulf feels almost like you are alone on a tropical island.The two small houses are older, but well maintained and kept very clean. Host provides a large array of "toys" -- a hot tub, kayaks, paddle boards, lounge chairs, even some sand-castle forms and such. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time here. Enjoyed going to the nearby Theater of the Sea, but otherwise the kids (15-22) all just wanted to hang out here.

Absolute Paradise

Having stayed at VRBO and other rental houses over the past 30 years, this rental is in my Top 2 favorites. I travel a lot and this was the perfect mix of privacy, serenity, relaxation, and beauty. The private beach and entry to the bay is unheard of in a rental in the Keys. The kayaks were top quality; every amenity was provided; and the jacuzzi jets were some of the most powerful I have ever experiemced.The landscaping is simply over the top beautiful and feels like you have walked into a 5 star reaort. I hope to spend as much time as they will allow me to here in the future. I am truly blown away about every feature of this property! Thank you!

Perfect getaway

I cannot say enough good things about this property. Our family loved it here. Having the 2 homes and the fenced in yard worked out great since we travel with our dogs. When we pulled in, we were amazed at the beautiful setting and the view. We hired a local photographer and had family pictures taken there. They turned out perfect. We enjoyed the views, kayaked, grilled fresh seafood and relaxed. The homes had everything we needed. We got to see starfish, dolphins and more.

Perfect Private Getaway

Everything was as pictured but better, we loved having the private beach to ourselves. There is plenty of provided water activities to explore the water. We found a manatee and baby in canal next door. There are tons of iguanas on the property. The property is immaculate! Great place for beautiful photos. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect Vacation

We are hoping to come back to this place! I stayed here with my family and a friend and the two smaller homes on the property gave us each our own space. The homes were both very clean, superb cleanliness, and we found the beds to be comfortable as well. We appreciated that extra towels were provided in each house. The property managers were friendly, very quick and responsive in the process of renting. The landscaping of the property was stunning and it really is a little hidden oasis. I recommend arriving during daylight or the oasis of lush landscaping will look a bit daunting in the dark. During the day, it looks like a resort with all the palm trees providing plenty of shade but opening up on the beach area for some beautiful sunsets. I only wish I had brought my hammock! My pup had the best time frolicking in the private beach and chasing all lizards outside! The property appears fenced in but I do have a dog that doesn’t wander far from me. Our only minor issue was the neighbors in campers that were loud a few times during the day and there seemed to be a draft of marijuana smell from them as well at times. We realize it is out of control of the property managers as it was the neighbors and it was only a minor annoyance. It will not prevent us from returning to this amazing rental!

Amazing

This place is beautiful. Words and pictures don't do it justice. We had so much fun exploring the property and discovering all kinds of creatures and sea life. We felt like we were in Heaven. We would have like a few more bowls for serving but other than that, it was perfect. We will be back. The beach area was so perfect for kids. I want to bring my grandbabies here someday.
