Wake up to sweeping views across Lake Taupō and Mount Tauhara. Spend the afternoon by the pool. End the evening in the spa under open skies. The entire property is exclusively yours for the duration of your stay.

The Space
Six bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms across two levels plus a private garage suite, accommodating up to 18 guests comfortably.

Downstairs: Country-style kitchen with modern appliances, two dining areas, multiple living spaces, one full bathroom, laundry, and two bedrooms.

Upstairs: Three double bedrooms including a master bedroom with ensuite, one full bathroom, and a separate toilet.

Above the garage: One large double bedroom with queen bed plus a rumpus room with additional queen bed and double sofa bed. This suite is ideal for teenagers or a couple wanting their own space. Note that this wing has no toilet and shares the bathrooms downstairs via a staircase.

Three separate living areas allow adults and children to spread out without feeling crowded. The country-style kitchen is fully equipped for large group cooking with ample bench space, modern appliances, and cookware for the whole group.

Outdoor Amenities
The outdoor spaces set this property apart from standard group accommodation in the Taupō region.

The resort-style 150,000L saltwater pool sits in its own dedicated area away from the main house, large, deep, and fully fenced with a child-safety gate. The pool house includes a kitchenette, toilet, and changing room. Pool floats and bean bags are provided.

Up by the main house the spa pool sits alongside expansive sun-drenched patio areas, perfect for morning coffee or evening entertaining. A gas BBQ with bottles supplied, trampoline, swing set, and fire brazier with extra firewood complete the outdoor offering.

Private driveway with parking for eight or more vehicles plus dedicated boat parking.

Practical Details
Laundry: Washing machine available. No dryer on site but outdoor clothesline provided.

Wi-Fi: Starlink throughout the main house. Some reduction in coverage near the pool area.

Garage: Secure storage for bikes. No car parking inside the garage.

Hot water: The home runs multiple hot water cylinders servicing different areas. During large group stays, back-to-back showers can temporarily deplete supply. Allow approximately two hours to fully reheat.

Water supply: Tank-fed from town trickle feed supply. Triple Filtered and safe to drink throughout the home.

Septic system: The property runs on a bio-tank septic system. Please flush toilet paper only and avoid pouring oils, fats, or chemicals down the drain.

Pool safety: The pool is large and deep. Please keep the gate latched whenever the pool is not in use. Swimming is at your own risk. Children must be supervised at all times.

The Walnut Lane Estate is ideally positioned for groups attending Taupō weddings. Huka Lodge is six minutes away, Secret Garden nine minutes, and the Hilton Lake Taupō twelve minutes. The estate accommodates the whole wedding party under one roof.
