"This hotel is beautiful. The room was very comfortable, featuring premium sheets and towels. One thing to note is that there is no elevator. This wasn’t an issue for us, but if you have trouble with stairs, be sure to request a ground-floor room."

The hotel is close to restaurants, bars and clubs and the area seems safe. The hotel staff in the reception were phenomenal and did everything they could to help us. We hope to visit again. "

"Excellent stay. Awesome service and unbeatable location in the very center of old Quito. The hotel is kept in historic style. Rooms are well maintained, spacious and confortable. We felt totally safe, also at night time, as there is a lot of police in the area. "

"Our first night was a bit rocky — our room was in the Historic area of the hotel, close to the road, and we could hear a neighboring dog barking. The next morning at breakfast, we only saw coffee, toast, cereal, and fruit, so we thought that was all that was available. After we started eating, a staff member arrived and took our order — and we ended up having a delicious hot breakfast. We really enjoyed exploring the beautiful property.
