"It was nice with two floors. Nonetheless the toilet and the bath were on different floors, will be a good exercise to go up and down between toilet and bath/ bedroom. Overall very happy. The host was amazing."

"Stayed here for one night during our visit to Japan. The hotel is located very close to the train station which is very convenient. Since Takayama is a small city, you can walk to all sightseeing destinations in the city, also the Hida Folk Village. The room is not large (Japanese standard) but adequate. Once we arrived, the hotel provided good information regarding sightseeing places and recommendations for dinning. Overall, we were rather satisfied with the stay."

"The views are absolutely superb. Request the 6th floor facing Miyagawa river if you can. Great space and facilities for a budget hotel, where you want to spend most your time in Takayama. Staff are very helpful and even dropped us off at the train station. "
