Lovely owners make your trip so special.
All the facility is well maintained with cute decors and very clean, everything is equipped. What you should bring is only food and drinks. It is located right next to the beautiful shrine which is Unesco world heritage, and having amazing view of Mt.Fuji from the terrace. We stayed with 2 toddlers and 4 adults but space was more than enough, all of us was really happy to stay in this beautiful property...
"We stayed here the night before our Mt. Fuji trek. The hotel was everything we needed ! Super close to the train station where we caught the cab to 5th station/ where the bus drops you back. The beds were incredibly comfortable which was much needed after the trek! Would recommend staying here, only a 5 minute train ride to Kawaguchiko station "

"Cozy and picturesque. A lot of families with children. Really loved the views of the lake, the onsen, and the dinner. Staff was friendly, attentive, and fluent in English. Only downside is the location is not very convenient, it's about a 20 minute walk into town. There's sidewalks and the walk is pleasant, but the buses don't run very frequently, so keep that in mind if you won't have a car and are opposed to walking."

"The hotel is quite worn down and has more of a hotel-vibe than other ryokans we have stayed at. The onsens however are great and have amazing views. The food and service was really great.
The rooms were really spacious but - and this is the reason for my negative review - had a really bad smell. Both the tatami mats and the futons smelled foul. We spoke to the manager, who said he just recently changed the tatami mats, so this issue might not persist. The futons smelled old and moist, like...

"This is a great hotel near the Mt Fuji train station, their included breakfast was our favourite of our entire Japan trip. My only note would be that it was a little disappointing they were unable to accommodate luggage storage overnight for us as we climbed Mt Fuji for one night and the train station nearby doesn’t have a lot of large lockers so it left us scrambling on our holiday to figure that out. Additionally, this area feels more residential and the more touristy area is near Kawaguchiko...
