Peaceful quiet clean stay
Property was exactly as listed. Beds were comfortable, we slept 6 in this house comfortably. We also enjoyed the hot tub and the large deck and overlook in the woods. The cell service wasn't good, wifi was ok.

Omaha Baseball Trip
We loved the peaceful cabin after spending all day at the baseball field. The grandson enjoyed the hot tub after playing baseball and all the board games.

Fantastic getaway
Loved our stay in this lovely home! Well stocked kitchen, lots of outdoors areas to enjoy and solitude. Limited cell service so prepare ahead of time. But WiFi is available and there’s plenty to do - games, puzzles, books, hot tub, etc. We will be back!

Great vacation house
What a great place to stay! So peaceful and quiet. The kids enjoyed exploring outside, playing on the decks and looking for the kitties. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. Very comfortable beds and an overall great set up for our family. We would definitely consider this house for a return trip.

Piece of paradise!
We loved our stay here. Looking to get away, unwind and relax? This is the place! Everything was great. Hosts very responsive. Both indoor and outdoor accommodations were top notch. We needed for nothing. Highly recommend!

Such a beautiful spot! We had never been to southwest Iowa so it was so great exploring a new area. We brought our two kids. This place had everything to help us enjoy a little weekend getaway!

Exactly what we hoped for
This was a very relaxing aesthetically pleasing place (so many small details to make us comfortable!) So much better than a typical vacation rental. This felt like a home away from home nestled in the woods and near wonderful hiking. We were very happy in the space cooking on the fabulous grill, and in the well-equipped kitchen. The peaceful coziness made for a true break. The beds were comfortable, and the design and layout were wonderful. We had privacy from each other as well as much needed together time as a family. The decks and various sitting areas are pleasant and filled with birdsong and breezes. We hiked Sunset Ridge in Wabaunsee State Park and ate lunch at the Horseshoe Cafe in Sidney. Otherwise, we were happy as can be at this fabulous host's property. I agree with the other reviews - they are attentive and responsive and you enjoy full privacy even though they are next door. The design separates you.

Country Living
Enjoyed the property and the surrounding area. During the day went bird watching at Loess Bluffs National Wildlife Refuge. Hiked in Blackburn State Park and followed the Loess Bluff Scenic Byway. And at night grilled out on the deck and relaxed in the hot tub. Even though it was quite cool the tub was a perfect 103. Played every game we could find even ping pong and corn hole. Watched movies, read books and took naps. If this is what you’re looking for then this is the place.

Lovely hidden getaway
This is a guest house - the owners live on the same property which initially feels a little close but the backyard wooded area you see in pictures is completely out of view from the main/owners house - so it feels very private. The hot tub is a 6-person inflatable and it had us thinking we need to invest in one! While 6 people would fit - 4 is roomy and comfortable. In my opinion, the house seemed larger in person than what is depicted in photos - so this was a nice surprise! The kitchen is very well stocked. And holy moly, if you find yourself bored staying here I don't know what to tell you! There are games/activities galore - huge jenga, ping pong, bag toss, many many board games, cards, books, etc, etc. There is zero cellular service but the wifi worked great! We loved the overall vibe/decor of the house and pets being allowed was a huge bonus!

Nicely located with views from Loess Hills bluffs, but not far off a good road. Small but well equipped kitchen, lots of seating, quiet bedrooms. My dog loved the terraced meadows where he could run off-leash.

Perfect Family Getaway to Unplug
We absolutely loved this place. It was a perfect mix of cabin feel but still all the amenities to keep comfortable. The outdoor area was fun for the kids to explore and cute cats on the property were a bonus for them as well. Lots of outdoor space to sit and relax and read a book or play a game. The hot tub was perfect in the evening or during the cool day while it was raining because that area is covered. The decor was so cute and homey. It was nice to have each kid have their own bed and even have space to separate if we needed. You’re basically in the middle of no where so all calls and texts didn’t always go through but the wifi worked well for multiple devices.

Beautiful property
We stayed in this property when we were in the area for a funeral. The location was beautiful and had plenty of space to gather with family. Property owners live on site, but they were very respectful and kept to themselves. The home was beautifully decorated and beds were very comfortable. The home was clean, except for a used washcloth that was left in the bathroom from a previous guest. The washing machine also still had bedding in it, so I had to complete the laundry in order to use the machine.

Perfect little getaway

A quaint stay in the hills

Excellent Experience
This place is extremely nice and spotless! The cabin is packed full of everything you could possibly need for your stay, bring your food and you are SET! Owners were very nice and welcoming. Anything you need is a text or call away. They even offered to mail a forgotten item to me when I had overlooked. 10/10 stay and we will be back next time we are in the area!

Girls weekend
We had a 3 generation girls weekend including 3 adults and 2 kids. We wanted something close to the Arbor Day Farm and we are so happy we found this property!! It was absolutely wonderful! The decor was amazing, and the house was very clean! The hosts thought of it all, from bathroom needs to a kitchen stocked with everything we needed and more. The beds were all comfortable and there was plenty of space for the five of us. The outside was just as wonderful as the inside. Really neat decks with a lot of space and seating. It was so quiet and peaceful there, and even though the owners were on site at the main house, we would’ve never known. The guest house still felt very private. We all agreed it was the nicest rental we’ve stayed in so far. We loved it so much and would definitely come back!!

Great place
Quiet, isolated cabin. (no cell reception, which was a plus for us) Large enough for 6 people. We had a great time. Enjoyed the hot tub. First time we were able to take our dog on vacation with us.
