Arethusa apartment with balcony is located on the second floor of a building without an elevator and is entirely on one level.

A hallway leads to the living room, which is furnished with a table, a sofa, and a single sofa bed.

Next is the fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. From here there is access to a balcony overlooking Maniace Street, which makes the room bright. Finally, the apartment has a bedroom with a queen-size bed and a closet.

A bathroom with a shower and hairdryer completes the layout.



*The apartment is located in the ZTL (limited traffic zone) area, therefore we suggest leaving the car in one of the nearby parkings and enjoying the old town on foot.

For lovers of relaxation and the sea, eastern Sicily and the area surrounding Syracuse offer everything one could wish for. Starting from the ancient Greek city and heading south, the best-equipped and most beautiful beaches to explore are Minareto, Fanusa, Arenella, and Fontane Bianche, whose name derives from the natural freshwater springs and the white color of the sand. On the island of Ortigia, you will also find equipped solariums (Zefiro and Nettuno) and a small free beach called Cala Rossa. Further south, some 30 km away, we find some beautiful unspoiled and inaccessible beaches, including Calamosche, Vendicari with its Natural Fauna Oasis, and the beautiful San Lorenzo. For culture enthusiasts, the Greek theatre of Syracuse and the entire archaeological park with the Ear of Dionysius, a cave carved into the limestone in the shape of a human ear, the Paolo Orsi museum, and the Latomie dei Cappuccini, as well as Ortigia itself with its historical and cultural beauty as well as its landscape, are worth a visit. Not to be overlooked is Noto, the seafront with the tuna fishery of Avola, and finally the seaside village of Marzamemi. In short, Sicily is a land to explore and its natural and cultural beauties are treasures to fill your eyes with.



The airport of Catania Fontanarossa is about 60 km far away, while Comiso “Pio La Torre” airport is 110 km away. The train station of Siracusa is 1 km away from Ortigia, as well as the inter bus station connected with the airports.
