"My husband and I were visiting Brandon for the first time. We stayed in room1411 at stone castle motel. It was on the 4th floor. The room was decent, altho the cleaning service needs pay attention to coffee pots, sinks, and bedside tables. Other than that at least the bathroom was clean. Lol. My biggest complaint was it was so hot on the 4th floor. Thank goodness for air conditioning in the rooms. I love that you have hot breakfast but only wish for breakfast sausage and or bacon. "The facility was clean but slightly dated. Our room was extremely humid and had a damp smell even with the a/c running full the whole time. To be fair it was 100* out the day we checked in. There are several attractions within walking distance including restraunts. The breakfast area is spacious and there's something for everyone. We didn't use the pools but they appeared well kept. "
