Spahoteller i Sydøstlige Irland

"The beautiful Irish countryside has so much to offer. When this is combined with the love for nature that the host Mary shares with you and staying in one of the shepherds huts all conditions for a perfect stay are there. Guidance to nice walks and places to see are part of the warm welcoming to Blackstairs Shepherds Hut. We enjoyed the quietness, a walk along the river Barrow and having dinner in the nearby town Borris."

"Great room and lovely staff"

"Et meget rent, velholdt og indbydende sted at overnatte. Meget varieret og vel tilberedt morgenmad. Omgivelser, udsigt og værelse i top"

"Lovely property in every way. Plenty of room to relax and enjoy. Pauline, Chris, and their pups Penny, and Max were all wonderful hosts."

"Rigtig godt hotel med gode værelser og venligt personale."

"Staff was excellent. We had inquired about laundry services through the expedia app. When we arrived, she had researched local places, as the inhouse had a 24hour turnaround service, but we were only staying 1 night."

"From the moment you pull in the driveway you get a sense of calm. The landscape is absolutely stunning. You are greeted at the door by one of the owners. They show you around then take you upstairs to your room. The decor was very calming and having its own bathroom in your room is a great bonus. Breakfast was made to order and prepared by o e of the owners as well. These 2 men have created a BnB that they should be extremely proud of. If we ever come back to this part of Ireland, we will 100%...

"Nice facilities, didn't care for the bunk bed in the room, not very comfortable and a bit claustrophobic."

"Cute place to stay above a lovely pub and on the water. Good value for money. Pros: dog friendly, beach access, beverage tray with sparkling water and tea/instant coffee and a kettle (always nice). Little things that could be improved: there was no full size bath towel, just a hand towel and shower mat, window had been left ajar for fresh air (which is great) but meant that by the time I arrived, there were a ton of knats/midges/little bugs inside and outside the window."

"Great stay! Wonderful staff, building, breakfast and room. Nice little walk to town."

"Slotsophold som var fantastisk. Rigtig god restaurant med med i topklasse. Venlig og service-minded personale. Selvom det var på en ø, følte man sig ikke isoleret, da forbindelse til byen var god."

"Fantastisk hotel, område og personale. Sjældent mødt så fin en service som vi fik, også på deres restaurant og i baren. Helt fair priser, og en fantastisk udsigt!"

"Avoid! We stayed mid-Sept (2026) and were excited to try an adventure of a room 'in a pub'. It was a horrific experience and we departed early. We (3 women) had the courtyard triple room (#23). As soon as we entered the room, we noticed a dampness and a strong smell of mildew. We thought heat would help but the radiator would not turn on; we went to the bar staff (part of the problem is that there is no on-site manager to resolve issues) and the bar staff told us the heat is not turned on until...
