"Idyllic location on a hill overlooking the ocean with a gorgeous property and bungalow. Knox and Kelera treat their guests like family and are incredibly gracious. They made a lovo dinner for us which was delicious and Knox drove us to all of our day trip destinations filling the driving time with interesting observations about the island and history. One of the nicest vacation stays I have ever experienced. "

"Wow! Vale Sekula looked too good to be true- it was as amazing if not better than advertised! Tony (the owner) was an excellent communicator and Robert and Vinna (the caretakers) were amazing people, good at communicating and helping us arrange rides and activities, and Vinna’s cooking was top notch and fresh from her garden! Our family is a land-locked bunch that rarely has or likes fish, but Vinna made 3 fish dishes for us, and we were all licking our bowls and enjoying leftovers!The property...

"Overall a great resort. I dont think that any place in Fiji, including this hotel, is going to win the world cup in organizational skills. So dont expect perfection. But they fully compensate for this by great service and extremely helpful, kind, and child-friendly. The staff is always there to help and will happily stop whatever they are doing to talk to the kids. Pools seems to be naturally heated only but this is fine for the Fiji climate - even for our 2-year old who enjoyed the nice kids pool. We had morning and evening buffet and this was of good quality - without being perfect it was definitely among the better buffet experiences we have had. The resort is located on a man-made resort/ tourist island and there are no buses going out of the island - only taxis. There are a few shops etc just outside the resort so there is no urgent need to travel - but to get to the main island, shop on the local markets and support the local population - you need a taxi."
