"Akitaya is always a great stay. I’ve stayed here both times I’ve been to Kamakura and I plan to stay here again when I return! The rooms are a traditional Japanese style which I think everyone should experience! The hotel is conveniently placed next to Koshigoe station which makes it really easy to get around. They even give you free tea in the room! The staff are always super friendly and even did my laundry for me. I definitely recommend this place!"

"This place is a hidden gem. It's less than 10 minutes walk (we walk pretty fast) from the Fujisawa Station. On the way, there are plenty of restaurants and a grocery store. Our room was beautiful and spacious. We stayed in one of the rooms with a lift so it felt like a 2-bedroom for our party of 3. Be sure to stop by the coffee shop to try their caramel pudding with homemade ice cream and specialty coffees that are roasted in house! We will definitely come back again to explore more of the...

"All of the staff are polite and patient. I really appreciate one of them helping me in figuring out the switch of a TV lamp. The hotel environment is decent and comfy with complete equipments, including every disposable necessities. That bathtub features a non-slip design which is really practical and thoughtful.
