"We surprised our 7 year old son with a birthday weekend and couldn't have been more thrilled with this place. It was everything we were looking for from the easy check in, the location, the size of the room, and the area felt really safe. We can't wait to book again!!"

"The floor was sticky and dirty. It seemed like it was washed with very dirty water. The room smelled like rotten shrimp. The bathtub in the adjacent bedroom had a large dirt stain on the bottom. I believe the dirty water from the floor mop bucket was poured in and never properly cleaned out. The shower in this tub did not work, the problem was the plumbing knob. The chairs on the balcony were dirty.
The towels and bedding were very clean. "

"About what you would expect, rating is lower from me because of a billing issue that could have been avoided as well as a pipe running across the beach that makes it difficult for people with accessibility issues, that isn't the hotels fault but maybe prices should be adjusted if the view is going to include a three foot wide rusty brown pipe and a depressed-looking boardwalk. Still better than Myrtle Beach."

"Yes the property is pet friendly! The rooms are clean beds are very soft and u can tell the sheets and bedding are clean to sleep under! The pool is great my kids got to take a dip even tho it wasnt in season (only by a week) so they're really kid friendly as well!!"

"The room size was great and everything was very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The view of the river is not as it appears in the listing. It is only partially visible from the balcony on the back side units. It is nice to walk down to the sandy beach and out n the pier. We had a Deluxe room with a kitchen and it was really nice. Location is not far from the downtown area and only 1.5 miles free m the ferry port to Fort Fisher. We will probably go back in the future."
