Sleeping up to two guests, the apartment is thoughtfully restored to its original layout as it would have been in Stevenson’s day, retaining original features while adding modern comforts. Despite its wonderfully remote feel, the apartment is easily accessible by road, with on-site parking available. Sumburgh Airport and the world-famous Jarlshof Prehistoric Settlement are both just a short drive, while Lerwick lies around 45 minutes to the north.

☞ The Sumburgh Lighthouse light is operational, but this passes overhead - black out blinds are also in place to reduce any disturbance.
☞ Please treat our space with respect. If any problems arise please let us know straight away and we will do our very best to resolve them for you as soon as possible.
☞ No smoking or candles
☞ Sorry no pets allowed
☞ Strictly no parties or events
☞ Please be mindful of our neighbours and other guests. This is a quiet residential, neighbourhood. No noise after 10pm.
☞ You will be provided with access to your very own Guest Guide containing lots of useful information about the property and the local area.
☞ Please note that guests will be required to sign a guest contract prior to being allowed access to the property. This contract has terms relating to your booking and information regarding the general care of the property during your stay.
