Unfortunately, there was severe weather and we had to delay our trip a day. When I asked if we'd be able to get a refund for one day, I got no response from the property manager. "We enjoyed our stay here very much! The home was clean and well cared for. It was a little musty in the basement room but we didn't use the room so it wasn't a big deal to us. When you walk into the home, you are met with a beautiful view of the lake which was perfect! The homeowner was very attentive and easy to work with. We enjoyed the firepit and the overall feel that the home gave us. The furniture was very comfortable as well. We would definitely come back!"

"A must-stay place in Shipshewana! We were in for a horse show and needed to be close to Michiana Event Center. The drive was super easy into town. The cottage was clean, with everything we needed for the weekend (including coffee ). The quality of all items in the cottage make it feel like a luxury stay. We loved the game table- it made for funny moments. The weather was rainy so we couldn’t enjoy the outdoors or lake but it is beautiful. We will definitely stay here if we return to...
