"I highly recommend staying here. It is a country setting, with well maintained, peaceful grounds. The rooms are comfortable and it is a restful atmosphere. There is easy access to the highway that allows you to head north and see the entire coastline of Door County. We would come back! "

"Our stay in Chanticleer Guest House was amazing. It is everything you expect to spend a wonderful couple getaway. The decoration was outstanding, and the surroundings were simply gorgeous and calm. And the breakfast, delicious! Chanticleer is a true hidden treasure in Door County. We definitely will back!

"The inn was built in the late 1800’s with original wood, doors and flooring. It was attached to the restaurant and bar with the same quaint feeling. The room was unique and had a homey feel that you don’t get from a regular hotel.
Really enjoyed the complimentary treats and water left in the room."

"Everything about our stay was fantastic. Great breakfasts, cookies, so clean. Close to everything. Had a issue with grid on bedroom patio door and it was taken care of right away. Well worth it. Highly recommend The Chanticleer Oak cabin!"

"If I could do six stars I would. Booked the trip for my parents for their anniversary and they absolutely loved it. Clean sheets and beautiful cabin. Was told the owners showed up each day my parents were there and offered to serve them breakfast as well. My parents greatly enjoyed the place and said that they would be back. "

The yards are decorated in an English style plantings of many, beautiful perineals. Housed in a quiet residential area and walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars. We would stay again. "Everything was booked in Sturgeon Bay, so we wound up here, at this Best Western. It was fine. But that was it. It's a bare bones hotel that has NO FRILLS. No soap dish. No fluffy towels. The lighting throughout the holtel is really, really bad. A few adjustments would make this Best Western a Better Western. Hire an interior designer to upgrade some stuff. It was clean. The Cheerios were fresh. "
