"Very comfortable house in a wonderful location, with spectacular views. The house is large, comfortable and very nicely furnished. Kitchen is large and well equipped. House is in a quiet location but with easy access to shops, walks and local sites. The views from most rooms are spectacular and change throughout the day, depending on the weather. The owner is easy to communicate with. Will definitely return."

So, if you wanna go back to the time when people spent their holidays in style, this is for you! 4 storey house with table tennis, snooker and dart in the basement, drawing room, dinner hall (the stag room) and kitchen on ground floor, then 2 storeys with bedrooms for 20 people. "We stayed in the cottage for 2 weeks in July 2025 and had a very comfortable holiday, partly exploring and walking the different spots across the peninsula, on southern Skye and in Kintail and partly sat just watching the world (and the dolphins) go by from the super sun room. "Wenn man das Haus betritt, stellt man zunächst fest, dass die Räumlichkeiten schon deutlich in die Jahre gekommen sind. Bis auf die Bäder wurde hier lange nicht mehr renoviert. Wenn man dann allerdings in die erste Etage kommt und die grandiose Aussicht durch die riesige Panoramascheibe des Wohnzimmers genießen kann, dann sind die Zimmer schnell nebensächlich. Die Kinder haben es sehr genossen, den ganzen Tag in der kleinen Bucht direkt am Wasser zu spielen und jede Menge Jakobsmuscheln...

"Waking up to the loch views every day was peaceful and serene. We enjoyed the birds and wildlife in the early morning and evening. Beds were comfortable, showers strong, and the kitchen is amazingly well equipped.We were happy with the location as we explored all over the isle, easily finding gas and delicious restaurants. Hiking trails throughout Skye were fun to discover from here."
