"It was very clean but a bit tough for getting around the bed especially with a cane. Was fantastic for being able to be downtown and close to everything. But you gotta do something about being able to take alcohol to the rooms. A small tv for those that don't stay out at night would be a nice add on. Staff was helpful and nice. In discussions with other older customers a lot of them were not impressed. You should let people who book know about the parking situation."

"It is in a very pretty spot near the North River. Cows (ice cream) is about a block away and open til 10pm. There is parking and a gas station across the street. I was in #5, my room was lovely no problems and the tv worked, basic cable but still good. I would recommend for a short stay."

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Inn! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful without being overbearing, the rooms were adorable and clean, and we were walking distance to downtown. 100% would stay here every time I visit!"

"I love, LOVE the Great George and have stayed there numerous times over the years. My suite was superb, well-appointed and spotlessly clean. The staff, as always, was friendly and extremely professional. For those new to Charlottetown, the location of the Great George is perfect - it's an easy walk to all of the downtown attractions and amenities. A++"

"A beautiful historic hotel, we found the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Great breakfast, comfortable suite (ours had a kitchen) and loved that we could do laundry at the onsite laundry machines. We could walk everywhere in old Charlottetown, and parking was free at the hotel. I would stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone I know travelling to PEI."

"This hotel was located within walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants. It was very clean, spacious, had a beautiful view of downtown Charlottetown and the staff was very friendly. The food in the restaurant was quite good. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"First off, I really enjoyed the lady that checked us in. She was very friendly and great personality. The room was decent. We slept well. The beds were clean, comfortable and the pillows were just right. We enjoyed the breakfast. Nice touch that you can get free coffee, tea, juice and water 24/7. The only complaint I have is the main light switch was weirdly sticky. Someone missed cleaning it I guess. We never mentioned it though. Everything else was great."
