"Værelser nedslidte, 2 ud af 3 lys virkede ikke. På badeværelset virkede lys over spejl ikke. Gulvene meget møre og knirkede højlydt. Slange til bruser var slidt og lukkede af for vand når man tog den af holderen. Madrasser meget slidte, måtte ligge ude på kanten. Standard i forhold til prisen på 134 pund hænger slet ikke sammen. Har boet i B&B 5 gange før i Ballater til under 100 pund med langt højere standard. "

"Schöne Küche, Zimmergröße ok (Familienzimmer). Aber: sehr dreckig. Auf dem Heizkörper im Zimmer war ein Fleck mit Erbrochenem (? Annahme), welches sich auch auf dem Teppichboden befand. Der Türcode für das Zimmer befindet sich gut sichtbar für alle im Flur an der Pinnwand. Somit haben wir uns nicht sicher gefühlt. Es war kein Personal vor Ort. Wir mussten telefonisch erst einmal die Zugänglichkeit zum Zimmer klären. "

"We loved our stay in the Balmoral lodge. Excellent location, well equipped and comfortable. Only tiny thing I’d mention is that in the facilities there is ‘free toiletries’ listed, but it was only hand soap so we did have to nip to the local shop. So maybe just take that off the description as it may be misleading? We’d love to come back again soon, we had a fantastic time. Thank you! "
