"The staff at the hotel was amazing. Everyone, from the front desk to the bat and restaurant was helpful and efficient. The hotel is in a beautiful Tudor building, in the center, an easy walk from all the sites. Wonderful spot!"

"Shower was a bit tricky to figure out but once I cracked the code it was great. Very little support as far as a front desk. Never figured out the water taxi. A nice walk to and from town and always felt safe. You do have to rely on Uber if you need a ride to train station etc. "

"Old building; would prove difficult for disabled as no lifts. For us no problem apart from Room 227 being a distance away from Reception. Room n bed comfortable; we ate out in town which has a fantastic choice of restaurants n pubs. Good base, central location "

Unfortunately we picked one of the hottest weekends on record in UK and with no aircon (my kids first experience of sleeping without aircon, we live in Singapore) meant hardly any sleep for us all.
